Fantastic street tacos. Exceptionally delicious.
For the people who said there’s different prices for ordering in English or Spanish, this is false. To be fair, I thought the same thing till I realized that the different meats have different prices. Not gonna lie, I was so concerned about this that one time that I organized a whole test, bringing my friends who are native Spanish speakers, arriving in separate cars, pretending to not know each other, and they got the same prices per taco that I did. Case closed IMHO. I feel foolish for thinking I was getting cheated by what is truly my favorite restaurant in 80204.
They also do have a menu on a sheet of paper, it’s just not always displayed. I’ll snap a photo and post here next time I see it so we can all know the expected pricing.
The lady who takes your order does speak fluent English, so don’t be afraid to try this place si no habla español.
Anyways, yeah, these tacos are FIRE and probably the best dollar to food value in town.
They are street size smaller tacos so you probably want like three to five depending on your hunger level.
They also have tortas, burritos, and more. The tacos obviously steal the show though.
It’s cash only, prepare...
Read moreTacos de Asada on point, I have been with these guys since they first started around liquor store on 9th and Feds. I have got to say for $1, The tacos are really good. They only have two meat options for the tacos, Asada and Al pastor. You can get them with cilantro and diced onions or with nothing. They also come with slices of lime to get that zesty taste. The tortilla is a bit bigger than the palm of your hand. (Also depending on how large your palm is). They have two options of salsa, personally I prefer the green (somewhat spicy) salsa rather than the red (spicy) one they offer. They also offer a variety of Jarritos (Mexican soda) and of course bottled water. They have other items on their menus but you have to ask. Parking can be crowded on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays so expect the line to be long and to wait a while. They are usually open from Tues to Sun from 6pm until the meat is finished, or there are no more customers or until 12Am. My husband and I call them "Los tacos del 6" (since they beside 6th Ave). These guys are up there with the best. Give them a try they will...

This taco truck was recommended to me and i was not dissapointed once i tried the tacos. I ordered the tacos al pastor the first time i went. It was like i was in Mexico eating some bomb street tacos. Definitely recommend others trying the tacos and other foods from this location!
The staff is nice/funny - They thought i didn't understand Spanish so they were like gossiping with each other and the conversation was hilarious. They realized i understood everything when i started laughing.
Also, their prices are great! - We used to go to a different taco place and they would charge so much for...
