We had a family picnic at this park in the evening. The park is well kept: lawns are trash free, benches and tables were clean, and dog run area was clean. The night view of the downtown Denver was great. Traffic noise from the interstate was constant, but not too distracting. There are two separate dog runs to accommodate different energy levels. The dog run ground is covered with medium sized pebbles, and is quite deep which seemed to bother my dog, although it is much better than mulch. I wonder how hot those pebbles would get in summer time. The bathrooms were closed for the season (on 4/21); this was inconvenient since we drove 1 hour to reach the park to...

This park was immaculate, yes it has small gravel for the surface but that didnāt stop my dogs from running around and from experiences at other parks that start out as grass or sand this decision will mean the park surface will be cleaner and last longer.
Water bowl, dog bags and plenty of bins are all provided and next to the fencing a shaded seating area where you can watch your dogs play and restrooms that are well maintained.

I think the whole idea is to keep them social my dog loves playing with other dogs. I suppose itās better than it being overcrowded. There is not a sidewalk from the street to the fenced in area.
