We went for the soft opening, and our experience could not have been better. Christina was our fantastic server, we met Clark also, and saw Johnny running around to tables with his expert single malt expertise. Christina guided us in what we ordered, and her expertise of the menu was on point and extremely helpful. As far as the vibe, it was energetic and fun. Nice setup, with one part being a bar area, and the other part more for dining room experience. As far as the drinks, they had quite a selection of them, with a fun Ten-Four part of the menu where you pair one of their liquors with a classic drink. Clever. We also did one round of the single malts, and each was unique, different, and exactly how Christina described each. As far as the food, it was absolutely fantastic. We just ordered three appetizers, and we definitely plan on coming back for the main food items. The classic goat cheese bread was unique and tasty, the deviled eggs were straightforward but tasted high-end (with lots of pieces of bacon in the accompanying salad), and although I am not an asparagus guy, my wife and friend said it was some of the best they ever had. Generous amounts in the portions, awesome presentation, and all delicious. My only recommendation was that they have some sort of flight you can order off the menu for the drinks, but what they have already is just fine too. This place upholds my eternal belief that, when in doubt of where to go, go to the place with an adjective/animal in its name. Way to support my learned Fact of Life, Little Wolf. This will be one of our future favorites for sure. I definitely recommend, and see you there (we live down the street, so that is actually a high probability rather than just my traditional sign-off...
Read moreI can’t wait to go back and try for dishes. The staff is amazing!!!! Clark, one of the owners, Grace, a server and Adam the chef made our experience unforgettable. Adam really knows what he is doing in a kitchen. The flavor combinations were unlike anything I have tasted.
The black garlic goat cheese bread and salchipapas are a must get! Make sure you mix the salchipapas up - so you can get the true flavor explosion!
We also ordered the burger and chicken sandwich. The burger is unreal! It has the right amount of juiciness and flavor and was not too salty with the bacon and linguine on it. I substituted white American cheese for the standard Swiss. The chicken sandwich was good but the hot honey needed more spice. I would 100% get that burger time and time again!
I love that the new owners and chef are paying homage to Cafe de Brazil which use to occupy the space. From suitable touches on the menu to leaving a bit of the decor.
They plan to have dinner specials and happy hour once they get more settled - and I can’t...
Read moreMy wife and I decided to venture down and check out Little Wolf on a Friday evening. We the Tempura Asparagus with a Fontina Cheese (we had ours on the side). My wife had the Fried Chicken Sandwich and I had the Cubano Sandwich for dinner. For dessert we had the Bananas Foster Cheesecake. My wife loved her Fried Chicken Sandwich. She said the sweet hot (but not too hot) of honey and spice was a great combination. My Cubano had great flavors with just enough heat that you could feel the spice but not enough to overpower your palate. The Bananas Fosters Cheesecake was delicious. Nice and creamy but not too sugary. We will definitely be back. The service was friendly and attentive but was a little slow at times as business picked up. However, knowing that they have been open less than a week, I have no doubt the owners will get that all worked out...
