Wife and I had a quick stay at the Berkeley while passing through Denver.
Even prior to the stay, communication with the team was consistent by text message with any information we needed.
Location was perfect for us, as we wanted to stop in to Sarah O while were in town to have my Wife's wedding ring looked at (just down the road). There is plenty of other shopping and restaurants nearby, as well as a small park across the street. My wife enjoyed watching the various dogs play during our stay (she had to leave ours behind a few days, so this helped lol).
Once we arrived, we were able to access the paid parking garage easily, which was a nice space. Once inside, we followed the instructions to gain access to our room. Came out of the parking garage and the elevator was on the right, just a step a way. We stayed in Room 303. The hotel is clean and very well decorated, as you travel to your room. Lobby was clean and looked nice. Hallways are decorated with neat art and plants. Also could have just been luck, but very quiet as well. It was like we were staying in an upscale library.
Once we found our room, it was much like the photos. Decorated simple, with ample space, and very clean overall. The only item of note was we did find some hair clumps in the shower upon arrival. Not a deal breaker, we always take some time to pre-clean common higher use areas when traveling but it was there.
Outdoor balcony was nice, plenty of natural lighting, and anything we needed seemed to be there. Bed was very comfortable for us and even the pillows weren't bad. The roof top patio was a nice spot as well, which we used to watch the dogs at the dog park.
Staff was helpful with early check in and late check out, which was very accommodating. Overall, it was a good spot that worked for us and we would certainly stay again if we needed to be...
Read moreBeing in the hospitality business for twenty years, I have quite high expectations. I always notice the small things and pay attention to the details. Our visit to the Berkeley Hotel exceeded those expectations. What an incredibly impressive place to stay!
We appreciated their policies that discourage parties and smokers. More properties need to penalize the people that ignore such rules. We are tired of those that have no respect for other people’s property. They should be banned from vacation rentals.
From the inviting foyer to the unexpectedly quiet elevator, this building is thoughtfully done. It is artistic, quaint and tasteful. Check in instructions were clear and easy to understand. It felt personable despite the lack of a front desk check in. Our room was next to the elevator and it could not be noticed while in operation. Access to the private rooftop patio is a breeze and the views are amazing. We could even see the Flatirons.
We do recommend the 3rd floor units so as to avoid any noise from Tennyson Street. We found that condos facing north and east would provide the most quiet and privacy.
The condo is stylish, cozy, modern, and fully equipped. We had two balconies and floor to ceiling windows to brighten the space. The kitchen has all you need plus high-end appliances, the bedding is top notch and the condo even has washer/dryer. We loved the lighting, the furniture and the tall ceilings. Blackout shades in the bedroom are an added touch as well.
We could not have been happier with our visit here, and plan to have all of our friends & family stay here in the future.
Thank you for a...
Read moreWonderful hotel in an amazing location! The Berkeley exceeded our expectations - nestled in a prime location on Tennyson street with endless options for food, drinks, shopping and entertainment, it offered the perfect blend of luxury and tranquility. Rooms are equipped with full kitchens, high-end appliances and beautiful finishes that more closely resemble a luxury condo as opposed to a hotel room. We enjoyed the rooftops beautiful mountain views and fire pit - it was the perfect place to wind down with a glass of wine after a long day. There are several lovely parks within walking distance as well as very easy access to i70 to the mountains/airport and i25 to downtown/south Denver. Despite its central location on a happening street not far from downtown, the hotel itself is maintains a peaceful atmosphere and was quiet, serene and private. There is nothing better than waking up and walking downstairs to Bakery Four, Denver’s best bakery, located on the first floor of the building, to enjoy some AMAZING treats! Whether traveling for business or pleasure, there is not a better location than The Berkeley, as everything you could possibly need is right at your fingertips! An added bonus was the bed was incredibly comfortable and made for a great night sleep. Very easy check in/out process, with details sent to you shortly before your reservation. Loved the free, covered, and secured parking as well! Highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Denver, or just looking for a peaceful and...
