Los Mesones Restaurant — Restaurant in Denver

Got there at 845pm. My husband asked the waitress if it was alright we still sat and ate she said yes but it would be bit of a wait bc there were more orders ahead of us we said that was fine. We asked also bc it was close to closing time. We sat for a good 45 min waiting patiently. 15 of waiting we ordered our food and drinks We got our drinks 5 min before leaving. Then the person who ordered after us got their order ans our order was put in to go boxes. I told the waitress it was for dine in which we clearly asked when we got there and she says oh you did I thought it was to go. 🤦🏾‍♀️ Potatoes taste old enchilada sauce was lacking alot of flavor, carrots were still hard.. This was THE WORST SERVICE AND RECOMMENDED NOT COMING HERE unless your ok with bad service and food First time here and last time here. I got enchiladas chillonas de queso and there's chicken inside and tortillas were dry I mean not even enough sauce to soggy them up. I can't give no stars, 1 star is giving them way...

Just walked up the block for some takeout during a Colorado April blizzard, can't believe it took me so long to try this gem! Ordered a Combo plate (with a burrito, crispy relleno, and a tamale), a side of rice, tortillas, and an Asado gordita. First of all, the girl on the phone was soo sweet, I was immediately glad I picked this place. The food was ready in the time it took me to slog through a block and a half of slush. As soon as I walked in, I was captivated by the beautiful pastries on display, when I saw the coconut cake I knew I had to take a piece home. The burrito was super flavorful and an entree portion on it's own. Crispy relleno and tamale were equally delicious. The gordita was a wonderful gift from the heavens, packaged carefully on it's own plate with a side ramekin of housemade salsa. So good!! Rice and tortillas hit the spot. And that coconut cake made every bit of my snowy trek worth it. Can't wait to bring my boyfriend back...

This place deserve under 1 start. The lady there was really rude taking my family’s order. We had asked for chips and salsa the lady had said “sure” in a rude tone. We did not receive our chips and salsa. We had went into the restaurant the same time as this other family. They where a even bigger family then mine and we had ordered first. All we had ordered where 2 menudos and oysters and the other family had got there food first and it was about 7 of them. The employees are very rude and racist. The employees where taking stuff about me and my family in spanish not knowing we understand spanish. The employees made me and my family really uncomfortable. THEY ARE VERY OVER CHARGED. I do not recommend coming to this...
