Last night around 9:15 PM, I had a humiliating experience trying to order food for takeout at the restaurant counter because the dining room was said to be closed, which was unknown to me because I relied on the business hours posted online. When I arrived at the location, the parking lot was full of parked cars, cars in line for the drive-thru, there were people eating in the dining room, and there were four or five people waiting at the inside counter to pick up food. While waiting in line to order, I realize all of the people ahead of me are Uber Eats driver's grabbing to-go orders to deliver, so I figured the line would move fast. Another regular customer gets in line behind me waiting to order food as well. After a few minutes standing there without any employees acknowledging the new customers in line, I asked a restaurant employee when someone could take our orders. He said the dining room closed at 9:00 PM and that we would need to get in the drive-thru line. This confused me because that wasn't posted anywhere, the doors were unlocked, and the Uber Eats drivers were all standing there around me waiting on orders to be filled to take elsewhere, which was exactly what I planned to do. I stated the posted business hours don't show different business hours for the dining room and drive-thru line, and an Uber Eats driver tells me to check Popeye's official website and not rely on Google. I checked Popeye's official website for this location and the business hours posted showed dine in hours were 10 AM-10 PM; there was no mention of the dining room closing at 9:00 PM. I ask to speak to the manager and she tells me I can't order because the dining room closed at 9:00 PM--all the while, a few Uber Eats drivers are all inside the restaurant waiting to pickup food. I didn't understand and still don't understand how my needs were any different from the Uber Eats drivers, yet they were being served and I wasn't. I asked where it was posted that the dining room closed at 9:00 PM and nobody pointed me to it. I tried to reason with the manager, and the Uber Eats drivers chimed in and said to me, "What are you trying to argue about? You missed your chance! The restaurant is closed," while one literally shows me the door and pushes on it to show that it was locked, yet it wasn't locked and the door swung open; this is the same door me and another regular customer entered the restaurant through by the way. By this point, I am both hungry and livid at the way I'm being treated, and tell the manager that I'm just trying to get food to-go like all of the other Uber eats drivers in there are doing and that the restaurant was as far as I could tell officially open. As I turn to leave, two other potential customers walk in to order only to also be told that they need to get in the drive-thru line because the restaurant is closed unbeknownst to them as well. With everything that transpired, I am angry that the restaurant employees treated me the way that they did. I still don't understand why regular walk-in customers were refused service while Uber Eats drivers were able to avoid the drive-thru line and go inside to pickup takeout orders all during the restaurant's official dine-in business hours. I am never getting...

Wish there was a negative star option. I could save some time and just copy and paste all the other negative reviews about this location. We were really in the mood for some Popeyes, it was Monday evening, around 7:00, I drove quite a way to get there. The kitchen staff was having a really freaking great time partying and laughing while they messed up my order. I got charged for a tender meal and got bone-in chicken. (Big surprise, tenders are more expensive.....) Even though it says right on the receipt, TENDERS.

No offer of sauces, no napkins, no silverware. The chicken was dried out and cold, as though it had been sitting there for hours. So were the biscuits. I called the manager and she wanted me to DRIVE BACK TO THE STORE for them to, what? Spit on the tenders they didn't give me? Terrible, terrible service and product. Ruined our evening. I made a complaint to corporate and have not heard back but you can rest assured, I'm going to be compensated.

Popeyes, with all the money you spend on television ads, you would think that you would spend a little money and attention to your service and product! And in the slim chance that anyone that works at THIS location can actually read a review (doubtful), don't you take ANY pride in what you do? Or are you just slinking along in life, willing to do the very absolute least possible to get by until you can get government...

44th and Federal. The General Manager is being played like a fool by their employees. I stopped in on 2-14-2024 @8:45pm. They are open until 11pm says Google however upon arrival i was met by an underage child who came outside to tell me lobby was closed and drive through was only open. Ok them what's the pizza party that 10 people inside the restaurant 🤔. Hey I want a boss who let's me lock the lobby for personal party, eat competitors food, and pay me to do while still being paid to tell customers I am appealed that the Manager would allow this on duty let alone the GM. I hope the GM sees this and if they would let me load pictures I would but really your crew needs immediate attention and retraining for starters. Plus sending a child out that is not associated with the business I ended up leaving that business and driving down the street to KFC and getting superb customer service just plain ridiculous because the child wanted an altercation when I started to ask questions. So I drove down the street after the kid wanted the altercation and left the business and went down to KFC where I got better treatment and the customer service there was definitely on point so until that manager gets a hold of his crew I wouldn't recommend going there because you could just end up in a traffic jam from the lack of qualified people...

I was the only vehicle in line and the guy took seven minutes to check double check, and triple check my entire order. I was fine with but I have never talked to a person at the order booth that long at any drive through. I expecting that my order would be correct with all of the double checking. When I got back to work I was missing part of my order along with smaller portions on the mashed potatoes.
