Moon Raccoon Baking Company is incredible! I discovered them through their amazing pastries at a farmers market during the pandemic and I have followed them all over the place ever since. I'm so glad they have a brick & mortar now.

My absolute favorite pastry they make is their Kouign-amann. It has the perfect balance of sugar and salt, every other bakery in Denver tends to overload them with sugar and they are not intended to be super sweet. I love that they create unique flavors & creative options. Their cruffins, monkey breads, Kanelbullars, sausage pastries and cookies are all out of this world. Actually, everything they bake is outstanding and I believe they are the best bakery in Colorado.

Everything is made with such passion and high-quality ingredients and local products. Their prices are very fair and a great value. The storefront doesn't have seating, so it's perfect for grabbing to-go treats. Their team are always friendly and helpful, and you can tell they all love working with the owners. I highly recommend you put this on your list of best bakeries to visit and support. I know I'll follow them to the...

Moon Raccoon is a wonderful and welcome addition to the Sunnyside neighborhood. I always go out of my way to visit their stall at the City Park Farmers’ Market, and now I’ll regularly visit their storefront on West 44th (east street and off street parking). I love that Moon Raccoon always has rotating baked goods with seasonal flavors, alongside classics like chocolate chip cookies and kouign-amann. Their baked goods are always moist and beautifully flavored, like their pumpkin-praline coffee cake and lemon-yuzu tea cake, while the pastries are reliably buttery and light - croissants and pop tarts! This is the type of bakery where you could pop in for a classic sweet treat for the kiddos or a trio of elegant (but not stuffy) baked goods for a friend’s birthday surprise. Finally, there are not enough bakeries in this world named after nocturnal omnivores native to the Americas. ...

Moon Raccoon’s new storefront bakery in Sunnyside is finally here, giving the people what they want and need—flaky, creative, decadent pastries and sweet treats. Their cruffins are absolutely unmatched, cinnamon rolls are from heaven, cosmic brownies make your inner child squeal, poptarts melt in your mouth, cookies have you kicking your feet with glee, and inventive croissant creations make you convert to the faith of laminated dough pastries. And that’s only the tip of the iceberg of what they have to offer! Do yourself a favor and go as soon as you can and treat yourself to a delicious latte and pastry, and pick up some Sfoglina pasta from their freezer to take home for dinner while...
