Rico Pollo — Restaurant in Denver

We have come to this restaurant a few times. It's not a typical sit down to eat place. Everytime we go, people order food & take it to go, which is what we do. Each time we visit, we always get a bean burrito, with no issue. Standard plain ole bean burrito. This last visit we walked in, and nobody was at the front, so we waited. We waited 5 minutes in an empty restaurant for service. When we finally got our order in ( again for a simple bean burrito) the gal didn't understand what we wanted, ( we just said can we get 1 bean burrito to go) so we proceed to point at the item on the menu. She ends up charging us almost $20 ,unbeknownst to us, for the WRONG kind of burrito. We end up getting a chicken burrito ( that we didn't want) instead. I guess she charged us accordingly for the burrito we received. But that's not the burrito we wanted. We don't live on that side of town- but 40 minutes away. By the time we realized the mistake, we were already home. I've always believed in "you don't know, what you don't know" so I am writing this review to let someone there know so issues can be corrected. It was delicious! I love the smell al carbón and the taste. I ordered a whole chicken ( un pollo completo ) but I didn't see the wings there. I'm not sure if they really give you the whole chicken because it's cut in a weird way that you can't really tell if it's the whole chicken in there. I guess next time I'll have ask them to give me the wings... but it comes with rice and beans, cebollitas, chiles toreados, salsas, tortillas, red onions and like a corn salsa, all these for $25. Mind you this is for pick up! apparently the ladies can't handle a busy day. I called to place an order for pickup and the answered and put the phone down on the counter.
