I've heard nothing but great things about Santiago's, but I gotta be honest, after trying them for the first time, I'm extremely disappointed! I just paid almost $10 for their Indian Taco, which if you're not familiar, is basically a fried flour tortilla with meat, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and a thin layer of refried beans....so pretty much a TOSTADA! The regular price is $7.00, but they upcharged me $2 for getting steak....the problem is, the steak looked like beef jerky and tasted like it had been sitting in a vat of extremely over salted fryer oil...it was absolutely horrible, and to think, I had to pay $2.00 extra for this gastrodisaster! The other problem I had is that they loaded the thing up with lettuce, dropped maybe 4 or 5 tomatoes on it, and totally screwed me on the cheese....literally about 2 tablespoons full......again, I paid almost $10 for this, and now my stomach is paying the price and I'll be looking for a toilet pretty dang quick I'm sure! I was really hoping for a much better experience, but in my opinion, Santiago's is very overpriced for very...
Read moreDisappointed with our first visit. After sitting in the drive thru for ten minutes before anybody acknowledged us the women who took our order seemed to be in a rush to get us out of there, We were one of two cars in line. She quickly became turned off by my questions about the breakfast burrito of the day. Remind you it's out first time in. After pullig up to the window to pay I was told only the total and the window was closed. After giving her our card the window shut abruptly again. Then we were given a black check book to sign and we traded for our bag of burritos. As we were pulling out I had commented on the tip box and tip line. I said maybe they would do better in tips if they slowed down a bit and said hi to us. After getting back to our Airbnb we found our order to be totally jacked up. Everything was opposite to what we ordered. When we called to say something there was absolutely no effort in correcting it. Impersonal, short,...
Read moreI wish I could give this location zero stars. I have absolutely no idea why this restaurant is still in business. Every time I order food here they get my order wrong. They don't believe you if you say you never received a receipt. Once I ordered a bean and chicarone burrito and only got chicarones no beans! Soft tacos and get hard tacos! How complicated is that. They are rude and charge you extra for what you ask for only to not to receive your add on! When you take the food back they give you an attitude and talk behind the counter in spainish like if we don't understand because we speak in English too. Talk about discrimination. Makes the Mexican citizens here look bad!! They refuse to replace your order only return your money. The manager is just as rude!! I will take the necessary steps to file a formal complaint with the corporate office or take this issue to the next level. This place needs to be...
