My experience started off positively with Evette B., who was friendly and attentive at first. However, things quickly declined during the rush/shift change. She appeared overwhelmed and unprofessional—taking a personal phone call from her daughter in the middle of service and even yelling at what seemed to be a security officer picking up food to-go.
The guest next to me didn’t receive his food properly because she never rang in his order, forcing him to take it to-go. She asked me if I wanted another beer, but then continued serving others without returning. I ended up waiting around 20 minutes after ordering, and only when my food arrived did she try to pour the beer—clearly forgetting she had even asked. At that point, I declined it due to the long delay.
The lack of attention, the poor handling of guest service, and the way she managed both her personal and professional responsibilities were unacceptable. Her attitude came off as rude and dismissive. Based on this experience, I don’t believe she is well-suited for a guest-facing role.
To top it off a new guest sat beside me and was told don’t look at his single party because he’s already devoured it all. To me that is insinuating i’m larger than normal...
Read moreI ordered a single and a double smash burger and fries for my wife and myself while waiting for a connecting flight at Denver airport . This cost over 32 dollars, it’s just the airport way, I guess. The order and pick up system of calling an order number out unintelligibly into a loud, busy airport corridor while standing behind a counter was chaotic and inefficient. After a few minor order confusions, my order came out in around 10 minutes. Checking the bag to ensure I did not get someone else’s order, I found that the fries were missing. I inquired about this issue and was told, “We out of fries.” A burger joint out of fries?! “We not cookin’ fries” may have been a truer statement. Given this predicament, having paid for fries as part of the purchase but receiving none, I suggested perhaps substituting a soft drink in lieu of not getting what I actually paid for. “No,” I was told. “”I get you next time you come.” These folks did nothing to accommodate me or countless others for this poor customer service rip off. If ever I fly back through Denver in this lifetime, I will assuredly hold them to their word. On a lighter note, the burger was juicy and tasty regardless of the...
Read moreIt's kind of a fun little surprise as to what you get, how long you wait, whether or not you can hear your order number when called, and whether your order is accurate. The expo cooks putting the bags together look like they lost their soul eons ago, no emotion, deadpan expressions, and a hint above a whisper when they say something that vaguely represents your order number. If you're lucky enough to hear the call, then you may or may not get what you asked for. You might get a chicken sandwich. You might get a build your own burger. You might get extra fries. Who knows! Proceed with caution, and expect at least 30 minutes from order to food in hand.
Even dining in is a crapshoot. You might get service, you might not!
Good luck! May the smash gods...
