Do yourself a favor and go to Cheeba Hut. I used to enjoy Snarf's quite a bit. But now: Never coming back again. The busier it is, the lower the quality will go.
My friend and I ordered the same sandwich. I ordered a small hot dog with that. Even though we ordered back to back, others after me had their sandwiches ready. My friend got his, and mine took another 10-15 min!
They told me they "just put it in the oven" 10 minutes after, and after others get their food, and tell me it's gonna be another 5 min. When I get the sandwich, with the small hot dog and pickled, I didn't even get a bag and had to go back and ask for one.
On top of that, my friend's sandwich was now just sitting there while we were waiting for my identical sandwich.
To top it all off, food was not even worth it. Steak not even that seasoned. It is sooo bland. It's like they just cooked it on the grill, slapped the smallest amount of what can barely be seen as provolone, and called it a long day. Sandwiches were just whatever and not worth the price.
After tip, it's ridiculous to spend $60-70 on this mediocre food and service.
UPDATE: Eating more of the hot dog, this was not dressed at ALL with what it said on the menu. Just meat and cheese?! Can't believe this
UPDATE II: Kind of insulting when the response from this feedback is telling me to basically come back and spend more money after getting bland food and weak service. I work on the same POS systems, I KNOW there are options for things like discounts, refunds, even after the day is done, but it's even easier when it's the same day. Bottom line: you do more harm to your business when your response is not a remedy, but to please come back, phrased as, "we'll work to get better if you decide to give us another try!" without fixing the original issue. To wrap it up, you have to think of it from the perspective of a guest and not the OWNER: "They didn't fix what was wrong, and now they ask that I come back and spend MORE money?" One of the biggest jokes of the year so far, bravo. We all know you will be fine and this will be a blip to be forgotten, but if this is how operations are approached from above, I can't even imagine the working practices and how the employees must feel everyday. If this is the response, there are more issues that branch upwards. I will never support a business that chooses to run it's operations in this way, where profit is the ONLY driving factor.
For an awesome sandwich, go to CHEEBA HUT. For the same quality as Snarf's, go to...
Read moreThe sandwiches are pretty good and they have a larger menu than most delis. The prices are expensive for fast food, but not unreasonably so. Staff is friendly and they’re great at catering.
The main reason I’m knocking off points is because they have a thoughtless system in place which causes them to be absurdly slow.
There are 6+ people making sandwiches, but only one person wrapping/bagging/calling out counter orders. Additionally, the one person calling out the orders wouldn’t start wrapping the next order until the current customer came to pickup the sandwich.
There’s no microphone and the place is a little loud, so the employee would end up hollering their name 3-10 times before someone walked up. Then the employee would start the whole process over.
One customer was in the bathroom and the employee didn’t wrap another sandwich for nearly 5 minutes because they just kept hollering for the person to pickup their order. I waited 24 minutes for my sandwich and had nobody in line before me. I ended up exceeding my lunch break because the sandwich-wrapper was waiting so long between orders. Why not just start wrapping the next sandwich while you’re waiting for the...
Read moreMy husband and I came in walked up to the counter after placing our order. The guy at the counter tells my husband to move our car as we are parked in their handicapped spot. My husband explained I was disabled i stated my hanger was in the glove box. Under his breath he stated " u look fine" "dont complain when you get towed. These comments were not necessary. I have a terminal condition, this was our night out as it was a good day!! My husband became upset and stated he owed me an apology. We wait for our order leave as now I dont want to dine here. We get home with our order and my order is imcorrect. I ordered french dip. Opened some sausage sand with a side of Au ju. If the guy at the counter wasnt so worried about where we parked maybe our order would be correct. I couldnt even try to eat it as the sausage is hot and my stomach cant handle hot. There was only one other person in the restaurant when we got there? And our order was incorrect..Question??How is a sick person supposed to look? I will never dine here again. Training of how to treat people with a disability needs to occur. I left feeling exhausted..think twice how you...
