Seriously this was some of the best Indian food I've ever had. I was on a road trip earlier this year with a friend. We made a stop in Denver and I'm still thinking about the food. The flavors are unreal! We shared the Onion Bhaji, Lamb Biryani, Bombay Aloo Masala. Cheese Naan, Chicken Makhani, and Shrimp Korma. The portions are super generous which was fantastic as we intentionally over ordered for leftovers. We had about 2 meals each worth of left overs which was awesome! Everything was so tender and the sauces you are provided for the dishes elevate the flavors instead of masking the dish. If you love a good heat kind of spice and not burn your mouth I recommend medium. I say this as someone with a semi-decent tolerance for spicy foods as I love ghost pepper salt and hot sauces. Getting medium when asked for spiciness was comfortable, made me sweat just a smidge and made my lips tingle. It didn't feel like my mouth was on fire. If you love extreme heat medium will be more mild to you. If you think regular buffalo hot wing sauce at buffalo wild wings is very spicy I would recommend going with mild at this restaurant. Not trying to knock anyone's spice tolerance but trying to give the best accurate depiction as everyone's spice tolerance is different and to avoid someone from not enjoying the food if its too hot for them. I seriously can't wait for my next trip to Denver so i can come back to...
Read moreMy recent experience at Spice Room was a delightful exploration of Indian cuisine. I savored a variety of dishes including Kadhai Paneer, Indian Pizza, Chana Masala, Aloo Paratha, and Garlic Naan.
The Kadhai Paneer was rich in flavor with the perfect balance of spices, while the Indian Pizza offered a unique fusion twist that pleasantly surprised my taste buds. The Chana Masala was hearty and comforting, and the Aloo Paratha was crispy on the outside and deliciously soft on the inside, making it a perfect accompaniment to the flavorful gravies.
The Garlic Naan was aromatic and fluffy, enhancing every bite of the main courses. To wash it all down, I indulged in their Awesome Mango Lassi, which was indeed a delightful blend of sweet mango and creamy yogurt, providing a refreshing contrast to the bold flavors of the dishes.
While the Masala Soda drink was enjoyable, it didn't quite reach the same level of excellence as the other offerings.
Overall, Spice Room impressed me with its diverse menu, attentive service, and most importantly, the exceptional quality of its dishes. It's definitely a place I'll be returning to for another...
Read moreSTOP. HALT. TURN AROUND. If you’re craving authentic Indian food, this place is not your destination—it’s your cautionary tale. I made the grave mistake of trusting the reviews here, and now I’m emotionally and financially scarred.
We ordered Kadhai Paneer, but what arrived looked like it was prepared during a plumbing emergency. The gravy had the consistency of tap water, and the paneer? I’m convinced it was manufactured in a lab by people who’ve never seen a cow in their lives. The naan? Dry, chewy, and tragically unbuttered—basically pita bread’s unseasoned cousin. Pav Bhaji came with Hawaiian rolls, because clearly the chef thought sweet dinner rolls were the soul of Mumbai street food. And the sev puri? Let’s just say the puris had Costco written all over them and the sev was limp enough to need therapy.
I didn’t just waste money—I funded a culinary scam. Save yourself. This place seems to survive on customers who wouldn’t know real Indian food if it danced in front of them in a Bollywood number. I left feeling sad for the poor souls around me who were blissfully chewing this blasphemy with smiles on their faces.
You’ve...
