Old playground was lightyears better than this one. It was a hide n seek/groundies kingdom. This new one has no character. It's just another generic inner-city play structure area that seems to have been added just for the sake of modernization instead of renovating the beloved existing equipment.

There are 2 playgrounds near the zoo, this one is the bigger of the two. Lots of tables and shady trees. There are a few portable restrooms around. There are plenty of thinga tge kids can do here, the structure is expansive enough for kids of all ages. Parking is easy and free

The main playground was great I'm sure when it was 1st built. Now I see parts of the equipment that have been removed and my son asked me why. I had no true answer for him. The 4 years that I have takin him there I have seen the repairs that are so desperately needed are not properly taking care of and band aids are used instead. I'm not sure what tax dollars are used to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment? I do see this much it is not a priority nor does anyone really care. I'm sure they are supervisors that over see the work that the employees do and its obvious that no true thought goes into the problem at hand. Please make this right for the community and everyone else that goes...

Took my 4 yr old to this park yesterday. It is huge and has a large footprint across the park. I was told that it is about 30 years or more old by one of the locals. This park is not dangerous, there are certain areas that have been boarded off or access covered for safety. If you are watching your kids play then there will be no issues at all. I am amazed that something this large and detailed was created so long ago and has weathered the years nicely. This park should...

A nice playground tucked away from heavy traffic. A large grassy area for running and playing. The playground equipment is safe and secure. Fun hilly sidewalks which my three year twins enjoyed. They didn't fall at all.

There's a pond across from the playground. Plenty of places to take pictures and collect memories. A peaceful setting to relax and...
