At 1st, I walked up to the building and It's in a small strip mall, almost in the center of them mall. And the inside of the building is decorated with their personal logos all over the walls and floor. I had heard about the business all over social media and Everyone is talking about how good the food was. So I adventured from my house to go and find T k's surf and turf kitchens. I got there and they were on a 2 hour wait and I suggest that you call in your order prior to your arrival at the business. There was one young lady walking in and she went behind the counter and I was standing there talking to the cashier and she was taking my order. And the other Young lady that was walking in was very welcoming very open, very friendly, And I told them that I was coming there to try their famous "The Works" Mind you I didn't know what I was getting into. I received my order shorter than the 2 hour wait, was Probably about 20 minutes to 30 minutes actual way time. In my plate was so full of large prongs And snow crab and sausage and Lobster tails Cut in half. And this was a large pile of seafood in a to go container. And I also was trying their famous spicy Mac and cheese, Is along with some garlic mass potatoes. And I couldn't wait to get this home to start eating. I started eating and Made the mistake of eating that spicy Mac and cheese and garlic mashed potatoes and it was so yummy. And then I started on the pile seafood and Yeah and realized that I was getting fool and I couldn't even make it through the entire container of seafood and I had to stop and save the rest for the next day. And trust me this was amazing. I would suggest if you got "The Works" And their famous Mac and cheese and their garlic mashed potatoes.... There is enough there for 2 servings. TK'S SURF and TURF, Thank You, so much For putting together a quality meal for anyone to enjoy.. Someday here soon I'm gonna be headed back there to try their fried catfish. Please if you get a chance stop in and give these people an opportunity to show you what...
Read moreOrdered the lobster Alfredo pasta for take out. Upon opening the container there was instantly a strong fish smell coming from the lobster. It was brown shrivels, honestly didn’t even resemble lobster. I called to let them know what happened with my order and they said the only thing they could do to make it right was to remake a menu item for equal or lesser value. I explained I didn’t want anything new because of the smell coming from the lobster. It seemed to have been bad product. I went back and forth with the lady who answered the phone before she handed it off to TK. When the owner TK got on the phone he gave me the same option of getting an item with equal or lesser value. I explained I didn’t want anything else and I could bring the food back in and get a refund. He told me they didn’t do refunds under any circumstances. I asked as a business owner how does he make it right when someone doesn’t like his product, and all he says is he remakes it. I tried to explain further how I didn’t need anything new because the experience was so bad. He said “I don’t do refunds and I’m not going to go back in forth with you.” Finally I asked if I needed to bring the food back and dispute the transaction with my bank. Once I said that he asked to place me on hold and then came back and said he’d give me a refund. I felt this was extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. I do not recommend. The experience was bad from the beginning until the very end. The food is too expensive to not like the product you received and not be offered a refund. I’ve never been to a restaurant where I didn’t like the food and they didn’t make it right. As a server it takes a lot for me to even return something, so when I do I expect to be respected and for it to be taken seriously. I’ve eaten at plenty of seafood kitchens in the Denver area and none have this attitude or service. I really expected more from...
Read moreMe and my Wife are in Denver from Minnesota for a lil get away… I never heard of this place but I like making itineraries for me and my woman when we go outta town so I googled black owned sea food spots and when I seen this place I was automatically drawn to it.. our second day in Denver after a long eventful day we came here .. I had a cluster of crab legs, steak, and Mac and cheese and my baby got a lobster tail ,crab legs , broccoli and mashed potatoes. The flavor was overwhelming good! Everything was done to perfection . I paid $101 and didn’t hesitate to hand over the bill because I’m a true supporter of ppls businesses especially my people. As SOON as we walked in we were greeted by the whole staff basically. I’ve NEVER experienced that before in Minnesota. They checked on us a few times but it was an overwhelming or distracting amount of times. All of them were so polite and had refreshing beautiful energy. I truly hope this place continues to flourish and maybe even land a spot in MN that hits the same as it did here! Keep up the work yall! Me and my wife will be visiting here every time we come to Denver.
As far as the complaints about pricing.. everything tasted fresh and clean and the flavor was amazing. If you are cheap I recommend not coming to experience great food. Also, the pricing is online.. it’ll be smart to look at a menu and pricing before arriving at any restaurant and chose if it’s worth the price . Me and my wife didn’t find the food salty. And I’m pretty sure you can ask them to lay off on the salt as you are ordering if that’s a concern of yours.. common sense :)
Anyway.. 10/10 experience all around 👏 dope music selection.. and I like how they had Nipsey hussle sayings and stuff on the wall 🏁
(Pictures don’t do the flavor any justice .. i recommend going to...
