A Taco Affair Denville — Restaurant in Denville

Holy moly, what a fantastic addition to downtown Denville! We’ve been regulars since the beginning and I can’t believe that I haven’t written a review yet.

In my photos, you'll see so many options : steakhouse tacos (my personal fav ), Korean BBQ tacos, Caribbean jerk chicken tacos, seared sesame tuna tacos, and of course, traditional ground beef tacos.

Let’s not forget the truffled yuca fries, which are so crispy and addictive that I never skip ordering them. And I don’t get them EVERY time but the churros with the salted caramel sauce( or the chocolate or cream cheese or all three) are sinful .

Every so often, they offer up specials like buffalo wings or a lobster avocado tostada — delish!

The owner and staff are always super friendly, the vibe is so chill and there's always a great playlist. Come for the tacos and tunes, and leave with a happy belly...

HUGE TACOS 🌮

Now that I have your attention, if you thought you’re getting ripped off by the price, because they are per individual taco, you’re wrong.

These things are huge. Each of them is a meal by itself. Not knowing any better, we ordered four tacos each for me and my husband and we both tapped out after two. We are also piggies 🐷 and usually eat a LOT, so these massive tacos really were loaded with goodness. Worth. Every. Penny.

The buttermilk chicken taco had so much going on — tomatillo, bacon,… and the fried chicken was on point. Korean BBQ is Spicy. 5.5/10 for someone who likes spicy. 🌶 (probably 8.5/10 for someone who doesn’t). Al Pastor was incredible. The brisket taco is the best out of all of them, but that’s just my jaded opinion.

(And the street corn, although I just took a bite, was really really tasty)

Bonus, we both now have a meal...

6 dollars for a small portion taco. Chicken and tuna taco we're like rubber. It was like eating beef jerky taco's. I forget to put a dollar in the tip jar that stands out for every customer to see and after that I felt like I was standing out like a sore thumb because I didn't give a tip. The worker was rude and didn't say thank you after I placed a 80 dollar order. On another note there is l 5 other choices in town to go to that is more reasonable in price. You have El Mexicano, Rockaway Riviera, and even Moe's that give you tortilla chips and salsa for free when you place an order.sad to say that this place won't last a year...
