Service was bad. After 5 apologies, it gets old. The place was crowed for a Wednesday. We sat down and waited forever for a waiter/ waitress to come over n even offer drinks. (Sorry 1)We were ready to order before we even were greeted. Brought our drinks napkins and silverware for 4 people we had 5. Had to ask for more napkins and silverware. (Sorry, 2.) Food came out reasonably. Had the new mozzarella sticks all three flavors. I loved them. $16 a little high, I'd say? But plenty for 3 people. Asked for plates to share apps. I had to ask a second time after we sat staring at the apps waiting while they cooled . (Sorry, 3) Had the fajitas they were good. Steak had some gristle, but ok. It's not great, but ok. I asked for extra sour cream. Never got it till i was done eating. Even though i stressed, i need extra. i like it a lot when i ordered. He blamed the people who brought it out to me, said he told them. (Sorry, 4). We were done plates piled up, ready to take away, and clearly needed to go boxes he walks by at least 3 times, never stopped. So we sat again waiting. I flaged him down he brought us boxes he gave us plenty and bags so that was nice. Then left we were like, can we get the check? After waiting again while he walked by. He says oh you can use the kiosk but it was inside a drink. Add flyer. We didn't even know it was on the table. I said we're paying cash. He says, "Oh ? (Sorry 5). Bill $164 2 triple mozzarella platers,a burger plater,2 fajitas platers,1 margarita,4 sodas, and a combo half rack of ribs and brisket Cascadia's . The food was good. But $35 a person for bar food? Alittle high. I give him the check n $40 tip. He says, " Sorry, i wasn't able to give you the attention I'd like to have, but i was really busy tonight?????? SORRY 6? i didn't really want to hear it. Not sure how he'd be on a Friday Saturday? But Chillis clearly isn't staffed properly or professionally. If you're busy, there's a way to handle it. Come to the table as soon as u see them seated. Apologize, then take the drink order immediately. Then the waits hidden a bit. Dont mess up or get things wrong when asked. I get it's busy. But dont add the customer having to ask u twice and add trips to the table when ur already busy. Check on the table every time you walk by them. I can wait, but not when u haven't even engaged as to what i need. I went on a Wednesday to avoid crowds and still suffered the effects. I tipped well because the restaurant needs training and better management of employees. That's not the staffs fault. that's scheduling servers on shift n training. I think he could be a fine waiter, and i could have a better experience if...
Read moreWow. Last night (4/4/19) myself and two friends ran to Chili's around 8 pm. To get to our booth we walked through trash on the floor which I let go and assumed it was a table with kids maybe throwing things on the floor and it hadn't been gotten to just yet. Next we used the restroom which wasn't very clean but ok. Our menus were sticky with food or sauce or something. Finally a waitress comes over to ask if we want drinks, Molly C. our receipt says but she didn't greet us and let us know her name. It took a longer than usual time for 2 bottled beers and 1 water to make it to the table. It wasn't busy and I should have mentioned that on our way back from the bathroom there was a group of employees huddled in the walkway that didn't bother to move as we exited the bathroom. So EVENTUALLY we got our drinks and we waited and waited for Molly to come back and take our order. When she did, she gave my friend an attitude about asking for no cilantro in the salad and dressing on the side. So again we wait for 2 salads with chicken and 3 shrimp tacos. And we wait. Molly at some point comes over and tells us our food will be out shortly. Meanwhile, the tables around us that came after us were being served their food. When our food finally came after half an hour, not only did it look terrible, it was not fresh, the hot items were cold and the cold items were warm. There was blackened charred chunks attached to the chicken. The salad had cilantro, the dressing was mixed in, one was missing bravado. SO when we say something she is like I can get you another one it will take 2 seconds.... RIGHT, no at this point we should have left 15 mins ago and we weren't going to wait. She didn't apologize at all for starters but she again acted like we were bothering her. You know we sat there and really wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt that maybe she was having a bad night but she didn't come back. She would go to the tables around us and didn't check if we needed anything like another drink that we could wait 15 mins for. By the time the avocado made it to the table that had gotten left off, my friend was half finished her salad. Once it was clear that we were finished she came to ask if we needed anything. I will never ever go to this place again, I am embarrassed that I...
Read moreI usually love Chili’s but this location is awful. Truly. I called ahead and told whoever answered the phone that I was 15 minutes away. Being as though it was already 9pm and the establishment closes at 10, I asked her if they would still be seating. The person replied, “Yes, we don’t close until 10pm.” Perfect…so I thought. I got there at 9:10pm (5 minutes before my estimated time of arrival) and waited to be seated as there were no hostess to be found. After 10 minutes of watching a bunch of empty booths (now 9:20pm), an employee finally addresses me and asks if I would like to be seated at the bar. I replied and said that I would like to sit at a booth. I was then told by the same employee that I could not be seated because the kitchen closes at 9:30. So after waiting 10 minutes to be ADDRESSED and not even seated, I explained to this employee that I called prior to arriving and was told by another employee that my arrival time would be early enough to be seated. So I decided to save her the trouble and I asked if I could order To Go. She says yes then walks me over to the To Go counter where AGAIN, there was no hostess. After being escorted, the employee went to the back and another employee came out. Third employee I have talked to at this establishment and she asks if we were picking up an order. I reply and say no, we were escorted here to place a To Go order since we were declined seating despite arriving 20 minutes before 9:30. This employee looks down at her watch and tells me they are no longer accepting To Go orders. I literally had to keep my composure at this point. My entire encounter with these employees has been nothing but miscommunication and false information. One person tells me I’ll arrive on time to still be seated, another person tells me I can no longer be seated after waiting 10 minutes to be ADDRESSED but then assured me that I could still place a To Go order, then another person tells me that they are no longer accepting To Go orders. I mean…seriously?! This is the epitome of awful customer service and a bunch of employees who are confused as to what procedures to follow regarding time. This was absolutely ridiculous and a waste of my time with no regard for everything I was put through. Don’t spend...
