Friendly's — Restaurant in Deptford Township

Always have great service here. The wait staff are quick and courteous. I also love the 50 percent off breakfast as well as the lunch.

However, I take back my above great critique to this establishment such as above. Today, the restaurant is quite busy because it is Sunday and 10 am. However i paid $50 to my waiter. And my waiter went to his "senior manager" Chris who has the change. After waiting for a while, i went by the kitchen and was looking for this Chris. And instead of a giving me a customary apology for my long wait, chris gave me a lecture because it bothered him that i went look for him by their kitchen hallway. The only reason i did look for him is because it is taking so long for him to take care of my change. And i havent slept yet after working 16 hour shift. And instead of going back their office, i saw him entertaining new guest arrivals and by the time i was by the kitchen, he was preparing food for other customers. No friendly approach and even looked upset with me despite that i have not said anything to me when he initially saw me. Subsequently, I even have to beg from him for his apologies considering their restautant is at fault for not hiring more servers to ease this predicament that everyone is experiencing. And Chris being a manager, i have a higher customer service expectation from him. But he literally treated me like he is a primadona instead. Said " good bye, good bye" to me after turning 180 degree away from me. So unprofessional and very girly considering he is a man. He even have the audacity to acknowledge me that im one of their regular customers who has been coming to their establishment for ages and still doesnt even know how to provide a basic respect to a non regular customer. He only gave a very insincere apology when i asked for it; and even gave me a quick smirk from his poker face right after. I was shocked when he called himself a "senior manager" when I was looking for his immediate manager or general manager. He is such a pathetic individual who doesnt know between being a rude individual and a person who excels in customer service. I guess oranges and apples look all the same for him. Shame,...

We were seated promptly then waited about 20 minutes until our waitress came for our order, a different waiter brought or drinks out just a minute later then the same waiter (not our waitress) brought our food out about 20 minutes later ... we ordered 3 small meals, nothing fancy. Our waitress came literally behind the waiter asking if everything was ok ... we literally just got out food, didn't even have a chance to smell it, so I said "yup". Once we had a second to gather out thoughts, we look at what was ordered vs what was sitting on our plates and realized we were missing onions on the burger and pickles for both sanfwhiches and were in need of another refill, but she was no where to be found until 2/3 were done eating - about 20 minutes later she came back to ask how everything was. It could have been better if we had what we thought we were getting and also something to wash down this wonderful meal. I didn't actually say that, I didn't say anything. We ordered an ice cream to go and a box for the little bit of remaining food that was left by one. The ice cream came but she forgot the box, not a big deal, but I always clear the table (putting all the plates in a pile, the silverware in a cup and try to make it easy for them to take it away) and she asks me "could you hand me the pile of dishes" ... not only did she say it with an attitude but it was also within her reach. I again bit my tongue, I'm not going to say anything ... maybe she's having a bad day but don't take it out on us. Sorry for the poor tip, usually I tip 15-20% but not today.

Come to find out, at least I assume, she was also running the take out/ice cream counter ... but why have someone covering table in the back in the damn restaurant and also covering the take out/ice cream counter al the way in the front?

Food is OK, Service is usually decent and the prices are fair ... I don't know if I'd reccomend unless you are going for the ice cream or going for 50%...

We decided to go here for our little family dinner worst experience in my life. Walked in no one was at the front to seat us we waited a good 6 to 10 minutes until she realized we were there because everyone was just standing around in the kitchen area just socializing and no one seems to wear hairnets in that place health violation. And when she finally decided to come seat us she trys to put us way in the back mind you it's barely anyone in the restaurant so I suggested other seating. The waiter didn't take long to come over so we ordered and appetizers the tots kegs which took forever to come and they were burnt and had a brunt taste. We put put orders in I got the Cool ranch Dorito burger no jalapenos add lettuce tomatoes raw onions, my son chicken pops fries with BBQ sauce, my partner cheeseburger lettuce tomatoes raw onions grilled onions extra mayo and extra cheese. Less to say the whole order was wrong everything and that had me extremely upset because again everyone is standing around in the kitchen area just chatting it up. When our food came back we asked for boxes right away no longer wanted to eat there that's when the manager came over with a attitude asking us what was the problem I explained I wasn't happy with the service or the food she rudely walked away gave us our bill and basically rushed us out. Less to say a straight waste of 42$ and I will never go back there that friendly's wasn't too...
