I dinned twice before I gave a solid review. Given covid, short staffing issues everywhere and tight supply in demand I thought it was only fair. Both times my family and I were disappointed. The flavors of the food fall extremely short and the prices are very high for small portions. My family is from Abruzzo Italy and normally we don't dine out and eat Italian but they claim to be authentic Italian from the original North End Boston. Tonight we came to celebrate my nonnas birthday, the service was decent but again the food quality falls short. Bland food, with American flare not Italian. I ordered the Chicken Sabatino and there was so much lemon in my pasta it was almost not edible. The tiramisu tastes like cheesecake, one of the other desserts was spumoni and it had the paper from the pan served in the bowl. Gross. There's just no love in the food here. Also, we spent $300 and our server new we were there for an 86th birthday- they couldn't even comp the 86 year old birthday girls dessert? They didn't even have a candle for us. Not Italian etiquette at all. Unfortunately cheap food at a high price is served here.

Don't skip the sangria! Or the chicken parm! I am not a wine drinker at all, but friends told me that sangria is the best around, and they were right. I also love chicken parmigiana and that is something I never make for myself at home. It was enough for two whole meals! So I enjoyed it for dinner the next night too. A group of 10 of us were there for a special birthday in late May, and they were able to set up a special table for us outside, which was perfect. Our server, Nick, was fun and very attentive. I don't often eat Italian food at restaurants because I am Italian and can cook it to my taste at home...but this was the closest to home-cooking that I have had in a long time. Everything was delicious and I will be going back.

Food is always excellent. Atmosphere in a rehabbed 1800s era Train Depot is unique and wonderful. Friendly staff, warm hostesses at the door and a nice bar set up. Dine in or outside on the patio under the cover of what once was the luggage storage area for the depot. I ordered veal parm and received by accident stuffed veal parm. It was very good, as I already started eating it before discovering it was the wrong dish. Why wait, the wait staff could not have been nicer about the mistake and made sure my bill was for Veal Parm not the more expensive Stuffed Veal Parm. Generous portions, with basically a second meal brought home as leftovers.

I went here on a Sunday around 6pm with 2 other people. The hostess and waitresses ignored us (continually walking by and avoiding eye contact) for about 15 minutes before we were told that the kitchen was backed up and that there would be a 20 minute wait. The food smelled good so we still wanted to give it a shot. There was nowhere to really stand or sit; so the waitress actually said "You can go stand in the back corner if you want".

After about 20 more minutes, we could see at least 3 open and clean tables. We waited about 30 minutes total before we asked if we'd be sitting soon. The hostess said that the she would check with the kitchen (not sure what this had to do with being seated). She came back out and said that the kitchen was still very backed up. We asked if we could at least sit at a table and she said "Yes, but you can't order anything". Well, we immediately left after that and went to T-Bones restaurant 5 minutes up the road and finally had a good dinner.

I've never seen a busy restaurant handle customers so poorly in my...

I placed a catering order for 15 people on a Tuesday pm for a Thursday noon pick-up. I arrived to pick-up my order and I had a wait an extra 20 minutes for the order to be done which wasn't a big deal because I didn't have far to go to get the order to it's destination. I had to ask for plates and silverware as nothing was prepped to go for a catering order. I was handed very hot orders with kitchen hand towels so I could transport my food. The food should have been double wrapped so there was less chance I would burn myself. I also got back to my office to realize that I also wasn't given any serving utensils. Luckily I had them but not everyone picking up an order would have had all the supplies on hand. I'm only writing this review as a reminder to the restaurant that these should be part of each catering order. The food was AMAZING and I would be happy to order from them again but I hope they understand the concerns of...
