Why do I fool myself? I decided a while back to wait on reviewing this location until I had a little more confidence around a review. Today was the final straw however. I can't count the number of times I have arrived here at 8:15 anticipating a bacon and egg burrito only to find noone helping me on the intercom, and noone in the building available. I went as far as knocking on the window. As I drove off at 8:22, I saw one of the employees finally arriving. She watched me drive away, she even slowed down to watch me drive away.
This location publicly posts, on their building and on Google, their hours beginning at 8am. They even have the nerve a majority of the time to open up at 8:30 and tell me they still have to prepare for the day. I can't visit such an inconsistent, unreliable restaurant for breakfast such as this.
I also did a price comparison over multiple months early 2018. This location has a higher price point yet yields a lower quantity and quality of food compared to the Ingersoll location. This has not stopped me from visiting this location as it is conveniently located on my route to work, but today it is a factor in my overall rating and dining decision making.

Read moreI came here after work one week ago Sunday January 5th (it was late) I ordered the 3 quesabirria tacos and a number 21. My total was $21 and some change. I gave them $40 at the drive through and they only gave me $8 back. I should’ve gotten $18. I didn’t notice until I got home so I called and called and called until I finally got an answer… the guy who answered barely understood English and hung up on me after I told him he short changed me. I came back up there and told him again. He tried to give me $10 out of his wallet and I said no. I don’t want your money I want my change back from the drawer. He didn’t understand completely and wanted me to give him a receipt, but I was never given one. I told him I would come back the next day because I know when they count the drawer it will be $10 over. I came back the next day and told another employee about it and she called the owner. The language barrier was such a nuisance so I just told them I guess I will take a gift card. She handed me a gift card with $10 on it. Well today (a week later) my boyfriend went back and tried to pay for our food with the gift card and they wouldn’t take it. I know it may just be $10 for some people but I earned that at my job. Read moreAbsolutely terrible. Lunch time on Friday ordered the Nebraska burrito with guac in the drive through. I've ordered this burrito dozens of times from at least 6 other Abelardo's locations.
The guac wasn't on the receipt I received after I paid, so I asked if they added it to the burrito. The woman said she'd be right back and came back with a cup of the green avocado salsa and promptly shut the window.
When I opened the burrito to add this salsa (which is absolutely not guac) I discovered the filling of the burrito was all screwed up. It should be marinated pork, fries, pico and cheese. Instead it was undercooked fries, burnt pork and a slop that maybe was pico and cheese that was cooked on the grill with the meat?
It was terrible. Could only eat a few bites. Staff obviously doesn't care. 0/10 rating, writing this review 24+ hours later has given me a stomach ache thinking about how they murdered this burrito. Do not eat at...
