Tonight is the 2nd time in a row we were told they were no longer doing delivery so we had to go pick up the food. They are open until 10pm. Both times we called were between 9 and 9:30. First time half the staff was drunk when we went to pick up our food. Again they close at 10 so for them to be drunk before they close is very unprofessional. The staff was also talking about sexual preference and experience in front of customers. Very distasteful. Tonight When I got the food I started to go through it. Noticed they forgot the salad, mentioned it to the staff and she grabbed it. Got home and it was the wrong dressing. Not that bad. Then grabbing everything out my husband mentioned he didn't get his fries. Sure enough the lg order of fries wasn't there. It was 10:01 so I chanced it and tried calling, no answer of course so I went to the restaurant. Got there at 10:06 and thankfully there was a guy taking out garbage. I verified he worked there and told him I was just up there and that they forgot our fries, he said he would go check. So I waited outside for him to come out and say they had no fries and that their fryers have been off for a half hr. Again kind of weird considering they close at 10 and this would have been 9:30. So I asked him why they took the order then and his response was "that's all you ordered" and he looked at me like I was stupid. I said o god no. We ordered $40 worth of food. He asked what we ordered and I told him, he asked if we got the sorpranos and I said no and he's like are you 100% you didn't get the fries I said yea or I wouldn't be up here after close trying to get food that I paid for and he said well we can give you your money back and he said give her the $6 and he turned around and left. So this younger girl gives me $6. And turns around and leaves. Then the guy grunts very loud. This whole time too he had a very bad tone and raised voice. Neither one of them said sorry or anything. Also, the lg fries are $8 not $6. This is the 2nd time we have had to go pick up our food and go back because they forgot something. We never had an issue as we always come here until these last 2 times. I have no idea what's changed but we defiantly will not be going back. Tonight was defiantly the last time. The service...
Read moreI really liked this place. Very down home neighborhood feel good homespun place. My friend who brought me here is on a roll. I adore the mom and pop pizza joint. This place smells good in the parking lot. The waitress was adorable, friendly, knowledgeable of the products completely at ease offering her opinions of what was her favorites and local folks tastes. Dave ordered one of the everything and everything else pies and another to go while I had my staple around the entire country just the sausage. The restraunt obviously specializes in cracker crust thin style which allows for the flavor of the ingrediants to really shine through. The sausage is a local ingredient and it is stellar. The menu offers a large assortment of great looking sandwiches and dinners too. Customers came in steadily with kids of all ages... a great sign. Something I look for. Great attention to detail by the staff not just our server. I give 4 stars food and 5 stars service. The place is a tad dated but very quaint and clean. I could eat here again and again never getting tired of it. A great place to bring family or out of town friends. Excellent. This is gonna be another half star...
Read moreI ordered their spaghetti 1/2&1/2 red sauce and Alfredo. It was good. Hubby loves pizza and ordered a 12”. It came out cut in squares, which he hates because, in his opinion, the ingredients aren’t even. The center is full of cheese while the outer pieces are not. He definitely prefers pie cut, which we found out that they will accommodate if asked. You’ll have to ask. It was a thin crust, which we love. We’ll have to go a 2nd time to give a good review. My husband was up in the air about the pizza. It wasn’t anything extra special, but the cut could make a difference for him, so we will go back We tried the onion rings too because we love homemade onion rings and they seem to be a staple here. We were not impressed. I’m getting better at taking photos, but this time I forgot, sorry. You would have seen what I was talking about if I had a pic to post. We thought the grease was old and the breading looked to be the end of the mix. They were good, but not what we expected with the hype. They were really hard and crunchy. I would like to go back and try those again too. Our opinion is up in the air and will update once we make...
