We love coming to this Casey’s - enough to the point where one of the lovely women working there knows us and recognizes us. She was the one that finally persuaded us to get Casey’s rewards because of how often we come in and she is always working so hard to make the sure the store is clean and pizza is made! However, unfortunately this evening we went in and did not have our normal pleasant experience. While our regular amazing woman was working on pizzas, there was another woman running the register who couldn’t be bothered to look people in the eye let alone say hello. She was working with a clipboard to the side of the register. The card reader had a note taped to it saying that the chip reader was not working. My boyfriend swiped his card and of course it detected it was a chip card so it asked us to insert the card. We know you normally have to insert the card 3 times before it says you can swipe it but when he inserted the card, the woman got upset and told us in a very rude way that the card reader isn’t working - you have to tap or swipe. She then made a comment while reaching up onto the card reader saying “I don’t know how people can’t read this thing” while fixing the note while we were still trying to complete our transaction. I shot back saying “well the card reader tells you to insert the card since it detects it has a chip.” My boyfriend used the tap feature on his card while she bagged up our items. She pushed the bag up towards us, didn’t say thank you or have a nice night or anything and just moved onto the next person in line behind us. I’ve worked in customer service for many years and know just as well that any comments made about customers should never be said within earshot. Customers should also begin and leave an interaction feeling like it was a pleasant experience and got them what they were looking for. This was certainly not how we left feeling. Went to Casey's just left 2 minutes ago... It's 2:36 everything in the warmers expired at 12:26 p.m. I informed the cashier of this and I get absolutely no response whatsoever, not a head nod not a shoulder shrug not a grunt nothing. Cashier's name is Memo. My drinks were supposed to be buy one get one free and it did not ring up that way and I informed them of this. The second cashier up there goes back to check and comes back and says it's just for the flavor that sign was under not all of them. So I'm like okay I swipe my car and I proceed to enter my pin and memo then asks me you're just going to leave it like that? What was I supposed to do? Put one back? Throw a fit? Become a Karen? I'm already there lol. I can't believe I even stop at this case anymore with as many problems as I've had. Read moreThe works at this Casey's over night are something else. I come in here at night and get a foam cup of ice water. I have not ever paid for ice water at Casey's. That is the reason I stop there is bcuz when I forget my cup the water is free so I can refill it when I get to the QT for free cuz I brought in my own cup so I do the same thing. Walked out of the store saying have a good rest of your night. I'm the only person is the store. when a lady said that I didn't pay for the pop I told her I had gotten. Water. Calls me a lier says they don't have water. Sorry lady but yes you do. Hotwater there is a sticker that says hot water next to the two little buttons for Hot Water.
