Subway is subway. The restaurant is clean and the food is good. But I will tell you why I gave 1 ⭐. So it's the end of October, I was waiting in line as I watched 4 people get served before me. The worker recognized them and was exceptionally polite. Gave them extra food, had their orders down, had the biggest smile as on his face as if he was trying to impress his mother in law! These people got "the works". Then it's my turn...I was happy and was polite. His smile disappeared, and he was very "cold". I asked for all the (free) veggies except about 4. You know sometimes how they try to put like 5 black olives on there...so I asked for a few more. That's when he had a "throw up your hands attitude" and said to me, "we can't give out extras, and that I WAS ALREADY USING A COUPON!" I mean, how friggin rude. He acted as though I was a criminal using printed money. These coupons are given to potential customers BY SUBWAY for a reason! How dare he treat me as though I shouldn't be there or as if I was broke. But then treat everyone else great and give them extra on everything. I told him he was being rude and I'm a paying customer none-the-less. Then he goes onto say his boss gets mad at giving extras. Like dude, of that's the case stop giving extras to those that you think will leave a bigger tip. Everyone should be treated the same no matter how they pay. After leaving I thought about it and if I was a different person that could've really hurt me and ruined my entire day. I was even headed to work and going to drop my kids off back at home to be babysat. So I called the store and definitely gave a piece of my mind. I work in the same industry and would NEVER do that to someone. In fact if your boss doesn't like coupons he can decline taking them like other stores do! Bad service, rude people,...
Read moreTerrible customer service, didn't have meatballs for the local favorites meatball marina sub. They turned away the customer before me, and myself, because they were closing soon. The store was still open for 57 more minutes when I tried mh order. When asked if ran out of the ingredients the employee said they had them, but didn't want to cook them up. Said just pick another sandwich from what they have out, they are done cooking or preparing anything else. I explained this is for a job night crew, so would be 14 sandwiches and it would be worth it. He said no, they only made enough meatballs for 6 sandwiches today, and others had got them. Manager should talk to them about when going to get over $150.00 order from one customer, you help them. Maybe this is a reason they don't do televised promotions as well. They don't need customer business, as in parking lot another customer walked out saying to wife in car, "They don't have ingredients we got to go somewhere else". So they turned away at least 18 sandwiches and 3 customers in 5 minutes, owner must give them employee of the month, for...
Read moreHorrible customer service! Lizbeth (I think her name was) made my bf and I 2 foot long oven roasted chicken breast. We got them to go. When I got to work and bit into it, the chicken was ice cold/almost frozen. My bf took our UNEATEN sandwiches right back (purchased at 1115pm, brought back at 1140pm). The girl refused to re-make them. She stated the policy is to just warm them up. The bf told her he didnt want his veggies and sauce warmed up and soggy and wanted them remade (with the chicken cooked/warmed up). The bf went outside to call me and the girl locked the door and then told him that shes calling the cops for harassment. I called her (since now I am at work) and she told me that their policy is to cook the meat only when its requested?? Lucky for me ... I recorded our conversation and will be bringing this up to corporate! What kind of company gives out frozen/cold meat that is supposed to be cooked and warm??? What kind of company has a policy of not refunding money or remaking something if the customer isnt happy -- A simple remake of 2 sandwiches could have gone a...
