I had a Uber pick up from here one night and when I got to the drive theu I had 2 door dash orders stacked come thru I accepted them both since they were on the same delivery route as the Uber. Once I got to the window they had neither order ready and asked me to pull up and they would bring it out to me. I waited almost 30 minutes and they never brought the orders out. I saw them give at least 5-10 cars their food but never came out to bring my orders. I kept blowing my horn at the girl in the window to get her attention when she would open the window. Trying to remind her to bring the food out so I ca deliver it. She kept ignoring me. I also googled the phone number for that location and started calling but no one would pick up. After waiting almost 30 minutes I had to cancel the orders and left. When I pulled out the parking lot I called again and then they answered I asked for a manager he said his name was Dominic or Dominique. I asked him what the problem was and why they never brought the orders out that had been pre ordered but kept giving every body in line their orders. He then lied and said the girl in the window brought the orders out. Keep in mind there were three orders one had 4 drinks with it that required a cup holder and the other two orders also had drinks. She didn’t leave all those customers in the drive thru line and bring all those drinks plus three different orders of food outside within the time I pulled out the parking lot and called and got the manager on the phone. I tried to explain this to him but he got an attitude and asked my why did I called back up there just to let him know I left. Didn’t show any professionalism as to why they didn’t have these three customers orders ready when I can and why they gave countless other customers their orders and disregard the previous orders.then he hung up in my face. They did this because it was 30 minutes til closing time and were being lazy and didn’t want to work and carry all that food and drinks out for those three orders. This is also the same location I had a stacked order for some teachers and students at 2 schools during lunch time. The orders had a total of 11 drinks and the manager gave me the cups to make the 11 drinks. I don’t work for golden chick I provide a delivery service not help prepare orders. I went to this restaurant on Friday evening and to begin I sat at the drive through window for at least 10 minutes before an employee came to the window and advised that they were out of Fried Okra. I let that slide and ordered a replacement. I come home to find that my rolls were shoved in the bag with the zing sauce and even more disgusting was the containers of zing sauce. They had food debris caked on the outside and appeared to have been previously used for gravy that had been dumped out and replaced with zing sauce. The pieces of fried catfish looked like they were the last few pieces from the bottom of the bag possibly a nugget of catfish. Then the final nail in the coffin... hair in the container of Mac and cheese. I put all of my purchased items back in the bag and returned to the restaurant to demand a full refund. When I returned the manager didn’t even know how to process a refund and had to call someone to walk her through the process. I waited an additionally 15-20 minutes before she advised that we should check our account to ensure that it was done correctly over the next few days. I noticed employees demonstrating the worse food handling ever, one employee was scratching her scalp and then without any hand washing returning to preparing customer orders. Tongs that we’re meant to handle chicken we hastily tossed on the other side of the counter and never retrieved but left to lay on the counter. I personally witnessed staff allowing customers to continue ordering fried okra even though they were sold out. This location needs a complete overhaul. Training inside food handling is utmost and customer service as well. I will never, I repeat never spend another dime at this location and wouldn’t even send my worst enemy there for a meal. 12/15... So my husband cooked BBQ chicken tonight, but no sides, so I drive down the street to Golden Chick to pick some up...I ordered mashed potatoes, fried okra, a side salad and 6 rolls..Again, the rolls are always perfect. The problem were the family potatoes..it was only enough for 1.5 persons..the cup was 55% full..ridiculous...take a look at the picture..they should be ashamed of themselves taking advantage of hardworking peoples money like this #toomuch #notenough #saddened
12/31st OOKKK, I changed my rating AGAIN...So my daughter went to get a kids meal at 9:50p on NYE..they told her they'd already put most of the food up, gave her 2 tenders, some corn fritters (which she didn't want) no drink or rolls...ooh but did I mention that they STILL charged her the TOTAL amount for the meal??!! Who does this?? Ridiculous... I'm absolutely done at this point, NO MORE WILL I DO IT!! #unacceptable (attached picture of what was given)
3/7th... I went AGAIN and ordered a garden salad and it was NOT good..like half the lettuce was spoiled, the carrots were dried out and the cheese was stuck to the container...there wasn't an expiration date listed so it's NO telling how long this salad sat in their freezer..I truly believe they are trying to kill me at this point 🫣...
