So as excited as my family of 7 was for this new establishment to open, it’s been nothing short of disappointment after disappointment after disappointment. Yes, we’ve given it 3 tries and it’s just not improving at all. First time (just a snapshot because I’d be here all night detailing the inadequacies), we ordered a double bacon cheeseburger and a cheeseburger and to our surprise, there was no bacon or cheese anywhere in sight…then there was a visit where it took 25 mins to get one turkey wrap…a subsequent visit began with us ordering the pork tenderloin sandwich to which the worker replied that they don’t have that on the menu…to come back and say oh yes we do…then, it took 15 mins to get that sandwich and yes, it was cold. Tonight, we decided to give it another go…bad decision…we ordered 3 loaded fries…we got fries with cheese, no bacon or onions; we tried that pork tenderloin sandwich again with no pickles, add lettuce and tomato…they got the no pickles correct but there was no lettuce or tomato in sight. Finally, we ordered a bacon cheeseburger and you guessed it…there was no bacon to be found, but it was marked on the wrapper that it was a bacon cheeseburger…funny thing is that I caught the loaded fries not being loaded, took them back and they added bacon but not the onions! We initially extended grace to this place because we’re reasonable people and realize that in the beginning things can be off. But this has gotten ridiculous! There’s no accountability for the food being prepared as ordered or even as advertised! And what’s crazy is that the 3 times we’ve been there, we have never ever gotten a receipt for our order. Our goal was to support the restaurant because it’s not a fried chicken or crab place which is all we seem to get around here, but you can’t expect people to frequent the establishment and not get what you...
Read moreFirst time eating here and the last time. How is it possible to get a whole meal wrong? And not different items from different meals. Like a whole meal. I first walked in and everything was cool. 1 women said hi to me and that was it for about 5 minutes. Who appeared to be a manager was making food continued making food while people are just walking around and no one is saying anything to me. Finally 5 minutes later someone asks me if I've been helped. After replying no she goes and grabs my food which had been sitting there the whole 5 minutes I had been waiting for someone to actually help me just getting cold. I got the Wild Wild West burger with easy chipotle sauce extra pickles and there was so much barbecue sauce on it that it look like a bottle blew up. There was no onion rings on it. which how do you make a wild wild west burger with no onion rings? It was so saturated in barbecue sauce the sandwich started to fall apart. I got the loaded fries with just a bunch of cheese and ranch but they didn't include the green onions. I also got sweet tea and it literally had no ice in it. I guess I have to be specific and ask for sweet ICED tea. I spent $44 at that place and didn't even realize the issue with my drink or fries till I hung up with them giving me a refund for the missing cup of cheese and my burger. To be honest half of that $44 should have been refunded. I don't even live in DeSoto but I drove out there specifically for that place after reading the reviews. So ultimately I've wasted my gas, my time and I've have found yet another place that's not worth going to again and I'm still hungry cause the food...
Read moreToday was my first time at Beef-A-Roo and it was not a great experience at all. I had to wait to place my order and then it took 11 minutes to get my food. Since I was in the drivethru, I did not look at my food until I got home. I ordered the 2 for $7 Wild West burger and loaded fries. After getting home and seeing the product, I realized it would be my last time there.
The Wild West Burger is a 5 oz. fresh smash burger served on a seeded bun with bbq sauce, chipotle sauce, American cheese, bacon, and onion rings. There were no onion rings on my burger at all and the burger patty was cooked too well with the outsides being hard.
The Loaded Fries are french fries topped with cheddar cheese, ranch dressing, bacon bits, and green onions. I had fries that were not all the way cooked with bacon and cheddar. There was no ranch or green onions.
Considering the time from ordering to driving off, it was 17 - 20 in total. I fed my dog with half of the food that I just couldn't bear to eat anymore. I was on lunch when I stopped by and didn't feel like saving the food to return after 5p. The one good thing I can say the General Manager was polite at the window.
I will likely never this this business a second chance because the first was horrible. Make sure to serve what you are advertising and if you are out of stock of something, educate the Customer so they can decide if they still want...
