Ali's Pizza & Burgers — Restaurant in Detroit

So let’s start off with what’s in their name. Pizza. There are a lot of options and all of them are amazing but I do have favorites. #2 being the Chicken Alfredo pizza, with its super creamy and flavorful sauce. The dough is amazing not like rubber like other stores in the area. The chicken is also very flavorful and is in every bite. #1 would have to be their chicken 65 pizza. The sauce is superb and the chicken is seasoned perfectly. There are great topping that go with that pizza and I would not change a thing.

Then we have their very well known shawarma fries. Either in beef, chicken, or even mixed. I have never had any specialty fries better than their shawarma fries. The sauce and seasoning is perfect. It’s so mouthwatering.

Now let’s move to their burgers and sandwiches. I had the opportunity to try their new first ever chicken 65 burger. It’s way better that Popeyes and chik-fil-a. It’s a whole new ball game and changes the burger game when it comes to small town Hamtramck. It combines both bengladeshi and american food together to make an amazing experience.

My friends and I probably frequent this place once a week at a minimum. This place is known for its Shawarma fries (which if you are unfamiliar of are chopped chicken, lamb, beef, fries, hummus, sauce, and other ingredients depending on where you dine at.) The fries are large in quantity and you probably could share it with another depending on how hungry you are. Another signature item I would recommend is the Chicken 65 burger. This burger holds its own against the Popeyes sandwich and Chic - fil a sandwich. They also have a wide variety of pizza and other products on their menu. This is one of those hole in the wall places that a lot of people are unaware of, if you have never been I know you will get hooked after your first visit. The parking lot is attached to the location and I would suggest you order at least 20-25 minutes in advance to avoid any delays in pick up. First time I got the tandoori deep dish, it was fire. Literally we all loved it. So naturally, I order again. Second time I got the beef shawarma pizza. I hate, absolutely hate mayonnaise. No need to worry usually, most Arabic places that list shawarma sauce, is toum, garlic, lemon, oil, salt. Every shawarma I've ever had uses toum. Now, non traditional places serving Mediterranean dishes will make some kind of garlic aioli in place of toum, trash. Or they'll stretch actual toum with mayo. Never ever had to worry about this in Hamtramck, didn't even think of it. I get my pizza, all I taste in the garlic? Mayonnaise. I had to cover it up with hot sauce to make it edible which made it a completely different pie than I ordered. This pizza would've slapped!, with actual toum. This was a mayonnaise sauce pizza it was awful...
