Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Detroit

Although I don't typically eat out, I was craving some perfectly fried chicken. I stopped by this place on my way home from a meeting. The store is conveniently located, but large cars should avoid using the drive-through. The parking lot needs some work, just like the store does. It might use some new paint or other cosmetic improvements to look more appealing given that it is located in a prime location close to the nearest highway that leads to Downtown (Detroit's main attraction). I had to prepare re-cook the chicken when I got home during. I avoid red and bloody meat. When I baked the chicken, it turned into a tub of fat and flower– WTFugdge. Since there is a lack of chicken eggs, perhaps this wasn't a real bird? I would be fine if they substituted turkey, but the notion of what it may have been makes me sad. I give the substandard food to my dog; don't even bother disputing with Detroit, Michigan eateries; it will only lead to a fight and no refund. Maybe this wasn't the best day to go. store needs a...

This is the worst Church's ever that chicken was not crispy like most Church's is.....not only did they mess up my order they had a nasty attitude to go with it. They are from India and speak poor English. I ordered the Texas feast which consists of 3 pieces of chicken (leg and thigh), biscuit,jalapeño pepper, 2 sides and a large drink for $7.49....and I wanted two apple pies. I had money ....this is what I want. It was hard trying to explain to him the Texas deal. I went home w/o checking my bag. I had everything except my 2 sides I went back. Very bad, avoid this place, first I went to the drive thru tried to order and a guy was taking our order and then he just started screaming I think they were playing, so I tried to go in doors locked . I came back today Nov 5 2022 my mom's loves church's chicken, went to the drive thru again no one came to the speaker, ok pulled forward and a customer is arguing about how bad of service he got. I get to the window I see a guy just sitting down doing nothing and a lady comes up to the window and she is on the phone like wow and acts like she doesn't see me and walked to the cash register in the middle of the store.
