I stopped in for a cup of coffee. The drive-thru had 3 cars, and there were 3 parked (one of those was a guy who was bringing back 2 sandwiches. ) When I walked in, there were 3 people ... the guy with the sandwiches, and 2 people who were picking up their order. THE RESTAURANT WAS FULLY STAFFED. Everyone was moving as if they were at home in their living rooms, with slippers on - though they were at work, in non-slips! Nobody said a word to me, so I ordered and paid at the kiosk. I waited another 3 minutes after ordering before anyone said a word to me. One of the managers were letting us know that they were having "technical difficulties." That's when I let her know that I only ordered a coffee. She said someone was bringing it up. DO YOU KNOW that it was almost 10 minutes (before she said anything to me), then another 3 minutes after she said that before I received my coffee, from a male employee who offered me NOTHING... no napkins, and when I asked for a stirrer, he said, "All we have is straws, ma'am." Okay. I took the straw and went ahead with my day! I do not eat McDonald's at all. I stopped in because I was running late for a trip and didn't have time to go where I normally purchase coffee. 🙃 The service was horrible. The store wasn't stocked properly Buuuut, there was minimal traffic, a full staff, and TWO managers present! If you eat McDonald's, that's your business, and I'm making it my business to tell you to skip this one.
*After all that, no one said, I never heard:
"How are you?" "Have a great day!" "Thank you." "Your order will be ready in just..." "May I offer you a water, cookie, or [insert snack]?" "We apologize for the inconvenience..."
This location is one reason why Detroit restaurants and servers are going viral for bad reviews currently.

Read moreStopped here this morning and went through the drive thru. Ordered a large unsweet tea with lemon. Waited about 10 minutes. Once I was at the pick up window I waited several minutes and someone came to tell me they were out of lemons. I said no problem. I get my tea and left. As I pulled out of the driveway and tasted my tea I realized it was sweet tea. I turned around which is something I normally don't do. I went inside and waited quite a bit of time. The only person working very hard was the older woman who I assumed was the manager and the guy cooking in the back. There were several teenagers standing around nit doing much. One was on his phone. The manager kept telling them to work harder but no one was moving. There was a young man taking the order of a customer in front of me. Behind him tea was pouring on to the floor from a container. All of the sudden the manager says don't cash that order out. She comes over and redoes the order telling him what he should have done. Finally it is my turn...I explain what has happened to the young man and he looks at me like he doesn't understand. He had the look of a deer in headlights. I rephrase as he takes the cup. It takes a little bit for him to get my new tea. I grab a straw and taste it. Um, still sweet tea. I turn around and no one even acknowledges that yes I am back for the 3rd time with a problem. At this point it has been about 20 minutes that I have been at the establishment and decide to cut my losses. I threw the tea away and walked out. Seriously! Get it together! They need new employees and a new manager. NNo sure I will...
Read moreObjectively the worst McDonald's in the city of Detroit. It may not be in the most dangerous neighborhood, but the employees lack all basic skills. Pull up in a drive-thru line, you can sit there for 20 minutes while the other line allows people through. Order food? If you make any modification to your order, such as no ketchup, they will not only add ketchup, they will add more just to make sure you know they don't appreciate you telling them what to do. The average response time to go through a drive-through, regardless of traffic, is in excess of 45 minutes. Don't believe me, test it yourself. I hadn't been there for almost a year because it was so consistently awful. I tried going tonight for the first time in a long time, and as usual, I pull up in one lane wait for 10 minutes while they let cars in the other lane through 🤣🤣🤣 you can't make this up!!! After waiting for 10 minutes and slowly losing my patience, I pull up behind the cars that got there after I did, and waited. And waited. And waited. After 28 minutes of waiting with zero movement in the line (this is not hyperble, not exaggeration, literal zero moment) I took off, realizing how I'm not going to let incompetent McDonald's employees mess with my mind. This is not fast food, there is nothing fast about it, you will wait for 45 minutes if you have literally nothing else better to do in your life, and that's if the employees choose to do their job that day. I would encourage management of this location to investigate all of my claims, they...
