Mitten Kitchen — Restaurant in Detroit

Omg it was so delicious!! I spent hours searching doordash for the perfect dinner and I found just that with Mitten Kitchen! They were very pleasant when I called to make sure I could add special instructions! I got the Garlic butter rice and added salmon, shrimp, and lobster bites omg perfect! (Lobster bites were a great addition!) Thank you for putting my rice separate! I also got the steak Alfredo and got it separate. the Alfredo is delicious, but I thought it would be real steak bites. Instead, it's the shredded steak used for Philly cheesesteaks. still delicious. next time, I would just get lamb chops instead. Thank you so much. I will be ordering again soon! Looking forward to trying everything!

Update: Unfortunately I have to update my review from 5 stars to 3 star. My first order was perfect and left me wanting more but unfortunately my recent order was disappointing. I had go take off 1 star because unlike my first order, they did not follow my instructions so the flavor was subpar for me. I had to take off another star because I received half the amount that I received for my first order. I paid over $7 for lobster bites and barely received any. I also only received 1/4 the amount of salmon. The amount of shrimp was the same and fair. It's unfortunate that the quality was not consistent because I was looking forward to mitten kitchen being my new...

I had The New Orleans from this place a month ago and it was absolutely delicious!! The Shrimp and Cajun Chicken was seasoned to perfection! I ordered from them again this time The Ball Park and it was just as tasty! The chef there knows what they are doing, the food is sooo good! And the portion size is very generous. Now this is what made me go here and write this review, I ordered on DoorDash and I asked for no onions, well they noticed too late and it was already picked up. Well i got a call from the owner himself Gary, and he apologized and before I even got my food, he made a fresh one and delivered it to me in person!! Even still had his apron on! Thats the best customer service I have ever received, i didnt even ask for a new one, but he did that anyway. I love this place so much I'd like to keep it to myself. I'm sure chef knows me by ticket name since I order here at least once or twice a week. The lamb chops, salmon and/or salmon shrimp egg roll is all I typically get.. Consistently, the food is delicious each and everytime. Chef, those last lamb chops you sent me, I almost dropped a tear.
