Do not go to them! They will ruin your car. I went to get my window fixed and they wanted to check out the whole car because I had a warranty. I allowed them to do so and they changed the bushings on my passenger side. After they changed the bushings they put my control arm on wrong and when I went up there 3 different times complaining about the noise I hard from my front passenger side they told they couldn't find anything. I asked them to test drive it and they wouldn't. They never showed my any damage to my car, never showed me the parts that were replaced. I got my car fixed by another shop and because my warranty was with Holbrook they could not fix the control arm. The other mechanic showed me where they put the part on wrong and I took a picture. I showed them and then they fixed it. By that time it was too late and I needed another control arm and they didnt tell me. The mechanic I went to before did. I took it up to Holbrook again. I told them what I wanted done. When I picked up my car, my passenger side tire was make an even worse noise than before. I had the car checked out by 2 different mechanic after that and they both told me that the wheel alignment Holbrook gave me after fixing my control arm caused the boot on drivers side to twist and it needed to be replaced and the boot in my passenger side was cut and all they did was zip tie it so it needed to be replaced. And on top of that Holbrook cut my cord lines to my transmission and now I have a leak. $450 worth of damage on top of paying Holbrook $395 to fix the original problem they caused. I have pictures, I have recipts and a timeline of everything. I WANT MY MONEY BACK ! I've been going to them for 2 years and they have completely ruined my car. Just don't go here. I cannot tell you how disappointed I am with the service here. For minor things they aren't too bad. For larger repairs, you are taking a risk.

I had a 600 "new" catalytic converter installed back in April 2013. I have the invoice here to prove it. I just had that same converter replaced two weeks ago (Nov 2013). The vehicle hadn't even been driven 500 miles during this time.

The new shop said the converter was completely clogged up. There is just no way this could have been possible unless Holbrook didn't actually do the job they were paid for.

Sadly, this is not the first time they botched a repair on a vehicle. One repair took them over a week to do, this was a few years ago. They messed up my passenger lock and my driver's side door hinge. They, of course, deny all responsiblity.

It is my own stupid fault for continuing to use their service, but in Detroit it is difficult to find reliable and inexpensive auto work. I guess double for the "reliable" part here too.

Thankfully I've moved and have access to better auto service. I hope I never see these guy's faces again. Let this serve as a warning to others......

I have been to Hobrook many times for my automotive repair needs and even though it was always more than your competitors. I felt like the customer service and attention to detail was always above average. However this last time was terrible. When i dropped it off I told them exactly what the problem was, the altenator was bad and not charging the battery. The guy was like $65 to diagnose and it will be deducted from the price of parts and labor if i decided to havecthe work done. Thats fine but it took a day and a half and it cost almost $600. I seen no deduction on my bill. The problem i have is the attitude of the counter guy. I pay a lot of money for the work i have done. Sometimes its just a few dollars less than the dealership. I feel like if I am gonna pay dealership prices I want dealership customer service. I understand maintenance is not cheap. Cheap work usually isn't good and good work isn't cheap. I will always remember how the employee at the counter made me feel. I have in the past two years spent over $3000 on my truck and at least a $1000 on my wifes car. I wont be back.
