5/1/2022 Following day. Will also discuss yesterday in addition. Yesterday. I ordered vegetable omelet. There were quite a few egg shells in my omelet. I did not complain. Today. I ordered exact same thing (I depend on this restaurant to eat, because I don't have my own place right now). Today they literally had bacon bits in my omelet, sausage bits, ham bits. I had to throw the entire omelet out. Because I do not eat pork. Yesterday. I ate IN the restaurant. Today. I ordered and left with my food, as I actually had a ride up there today.
I'm afraid to complain to them because like I said, I depend on this restaurant to eat. I don't want them retaliating against me when I come to order my food. I know they really don't care. They get angry when other customers complain, so I don't do it.
However. I will make a review about it so that the owner becomes aware. Because I know the owner does care. And hopefully he talks to his cooks and let them know to be careful when making people orders. Like. Just cook it like u cooking for yourself. Don't put meat bits in veggie omelet. It was about the amount of a small spoon full. And also don't crack egg shells into the omelets. Cause I'm sure no one likes eating egg shells. Not even the cooks. That's why when they cook for others, they should be considerate, as if they are cooking it for their own selves. They would not make a mistake on their own food. They should be mindful of that. Like I said, I'm afraid to let them know their mistakes. Cause I know they don't like to be corrected. And they may retaliate against me and I don't want that cause I frequent this restaurant often. I just make a review about it and hope the owners talk to their cooks about this. That is all. Other then that unpleasantness, the experience at this restaurant is great. And I will continue to come here. UNLESS they continue to mess up my orders with egg shells or meat in veggie omelets. Then that let's me know NO ONE CARES. And I will humbly and respectfully take my money elsewhere.
5/4/2022 Yea. That did it for me. They don't have to worry bout me comin here NO MORE! I ordered some simple fries. And the cook did not cook them all the way. They were soggy. I asked them to cook them longer so they would be all the way done. I guess he was upset about it. Cause on top of him putting seasoning salt on my fries, he added more regular salt on my fries. Now they were entirely too salty. I be nice to these people. I make sure to.I don't really think they like me. I don't know why. Well. They accomplished running me off. Read moreVisited this location 4/28/24 around 9pm. The cashier was definitely not suited for a job in customer service as she was very monotone and low-vibration. But that's not my issue. After I paid, I thought the total seemed a bit high and asked her to recap the charges. Instead, she told me to wait for my receipt which would be provided with my order. I didn't like the response, but made no fuss about it. Upon receiving my order and receipt, I noticed that I was charged more than $5.00 to add chili+cheese to my fries. Ok. Noted, don't add chili+cheese to fries here. Cool. However, upon arriving home, I open my container and to my surprise, THERE WAS NO CHILI & CHEESE ON MY FRIES! I immediately called the location and informed her that not only did I get charged an astronomical price to add chili+cheese to my fries...but I DIDN'T EVEN GET THE CHILI + CHEESE. There was no apology, not even a "my bad" or anything. Her resolution was "You can bring it back and we'll add the chili & cheese". Young lady, I'm already home and hungry. I'm not going to bring my food back to add the missed items to the "same food" that would now be 30 mins+ old. I advised I would just come in and get a refund for the chili & cheese that was missed before the end of her shift (after I finished eating). She said okay. She then immediately calls me back and tells me that the only way to get a refund is to bring the food back. I clarified that I was not looking for a full-refund, just for the items missed. She then tells me that in order to even get a refund for the missed chili & cheese, I would have to bring the food back. So...Y'all charge me $2.00 more than most Coney Island's to add chili & cheese, then you want me to NOT EAT MY FOOD, GET IN MY CAR, AND COME RIGHT BACK TO GET $5.00 or add fresh chili & cheese to old food with no offer to remake the entire order??? Read moreCalled in a order , and had the worst experience that I could have at this restaurant. I ordered nachos and to my surprise instead of just charging an extra $2,3,4 or $5 they charged 9 dollars for steak on nachos. Okay fair enough; but then I order a Greek salad and I asked for crispy chicken and they gave me grilled . When I called to complain about it, they put me on hold and eventually when they came back they said that I need to bring the food back tonight to have it fixed properly because nobody knows crispy chicken is fried chicken. I was already nice about the $9 overcharging for steak but to sit there and act like you can't replace my food that y'all messed up on it's crazy. Being in training is no excuse. At the end of the day I confirmed when I came in to pick up my order and asked was it a Greek crispy chicken salad. AND WAS TOLD YES ! I was told that the order taker was confused...she admitted she made the mistake. What should've happened next is someone putting my name down for a replacement instead of making it seem unreasonable that I didn't want to come back out the house with a two year old .. Honestly will never buy food from here again.
