Petite Sweets provided us an amazing dessert table for our wedding day. My husband and I were shocked by the time we reached the dessert table how quickly the desserts had been eaten by our guests. Although we probably shouldn’t have been surprised given how many people were gawking at the desserts during our cocktail hour. The presentation was simply stunning. We had to have a server at our venue stand guard by the desserts to make sure people didn’t eat them before dinner! I am not joking when I say people flocked to the table as soon as dinner ended. The standard recommendation for the dessert table was 3 per person. While we thought that was perfectly sufficient, we decided to over order (by about 40 people!) and I am so glad we did! We had so many guests raving about the display and quality of the desserts. It was so nice to have such a beautiful display and not have to worry about acquiring pieces or setting up/taking down the display. It was such a relief to have all these elements covered by the team. Lastly, our cake was not only delicious, but beautiful. We wanted a simple cake for the ceremony of cutting. Where do I even begin? We hired Petite Sweets as our dessert vendor for our wedding at the Roostertail on 9/23/2023. We ordered both our wedding cake and a dessert table from them, and all I can say is WOW. We knew after hiring Chef Denetia that our cake and dessert table would be delicious, but we did not anticipate just how quickly our guests would devour the dessert table! Good thing we had some of our bridal party set aside some dessert for us! XD The cake and desserts were absolutely delicious, and guests just raved about them all night long. There was not a crumb left! One of my guests told me she has been to a lot of weddings, and that it was the best wedding cake she had ever had (we got our wedding cake in the Strawberry Chantilly flavor!) A waste of time! Why do people start a business and then don’t want business? I followed the online inquiry for a wedding cake. It states that someone will contact you in 48 hours. 4 days later I had not been contacted. I called the number on the website and she answered. She was pleasant sounding. I gave my name and she looked for my inquiry and found it. She said she would “respond via email or phone call tonight.” That was yesterday. It never happened. Today I call the same number, which is the number on the website and inquiry form. It doesn’t even ring. An operator comes on and says “the number can not be reached.” Sounds shady or maybe they are blocking calls. I wanted all black vendors for my wedding. That is proving impossible! I’m sure they will respond with a lie or excuse. Especially why the phone call didn’t go through today. Do not trust this business to do what they say they will do.
