1113 W Warren Detroit Mi — Restaurant in Detroit

I was st this subway on 7/11/2025 at 2:35 pm. Food workers were very unprofessional. On of the young ladies were talking on her cell phone through her headsets while she was taking orders. There were kids sitting in the sitting area. I thought the kids were with a customer, until one of the children kept running to the work station asking their mother for cookies (a working employee). Then a few minutes later the other child comes to the station asking for something. She then busses at the child asking where is her cell phone and where is his little brother. I understand school is out and babysitters are scarce. But the work place is no place of kids and talking on you cell phone while waiting on customers is unprofessional and totally unexceptable. Management should be ashamed....

This Subway location has revamped its interior and upped its game. No longer a grimmy run of the mill ghetto grill. They've cleaned the place up and have it shining like a new penny. Let's face it. You can tell if these kind of places are actually getting cleaned regularly and under competent management. The food was fresh, the staff was friendly and the entire place seemed well cared for.
