Dynasty Chinese Food Detroit — Restaurant in Detroit

Prior to today, I would have rated this establishment a 3.5 out of 5. I know whole stars only. With the exception of one time when my food was overcooked, the food had been pretty good. Today, my sesame chicken contained a watery mixture and the chicken was EXTREMELY soggy. I was told very rudely by phone that it was fine. I took that part of the order back, showing him about half a cup of watery liquid. He began to argue with me saying that it was fine. After his rude and condescending manner, I asked for my money back. He refused saying it was half eaten. My daughter had three chunks before I saw what we had been given. Mind you there is nothing saying no refunds. I had to make a non emergency call to the campus police to facilitate a resolution because of his overall attitude. They waited while he prepared the order. I then offered it to the officers for their help and patience. They didn't want it either! So rather than waste 6.89, I rinsed it and gave it to the dog. Check out the video of the sauce that is "fine" and you'll see why their "crispy" chicken is as soggy as a sponge in water. This is the remake, so it only has a 1/4 cup of juice. I refuse to call that sauce. If this is your only choice for chinese, do yourself a favor and get italian. If you do eat here check your food BEFORE you pay amd taste it while...

They are going to potentially poison someone and cause them to go to the hospital. I ordered crab rangoons and sesame chicken. The crab rangoons filling (cream cheese) was spoiled so bad I could smell it. Eating it was like taking a swig of rotten milk. The wonton it’s held in was stale like it had been sitting out all day at room temperature with no effort to be heated up.

The sesame chicken looked to be colored with food dye. I’ve never seen anything like it. It was this odd red/orange color. Not the color you’d get from making the sauce to toss the chicken in though, it literally looked like they dyed this chicken. Soggy is an understatement it was absolutely VILE. It was mush. A 6 month old baby with no teeth could it eat. However, maybe not because the inside of the chicken were disgustingly STRINGY. The pieces of chicken I don’t even know what parts they used. Y’all need to be shut down and reported to the Detroit health department. Feeding people rotten food is unacceptable for a restaurant and in all my 30 years of life I’ve never experienced something like that. You will accidentally poison someone if you don’t handle...

I always buy food here and have never regret it before. But yesterday I bought through doordash and rice was burnt and ribs where almost all bone pieces... doordash didnt do a refund because Dinasty said food was good. It is a hazard trying to eat because there was small pieces of sharp bones even inside rice. Had to throw it away completely. They just lost 4 daily customers from here.

To owner: If it is unavoidable that meat fall of the bones... why all my ribs where 10-15% meat and rest bones? Also part of the rice was hard like burnt rice that stick to the pan. And the ma'am you talking about was the person who bought the food yesterday and she is my wife. I buy food from you guys almost daily since I work in security very close but this made me rethink about buying more food in the future. After 3 calls to doordash they refunded part of the money to her, but driving 15 minutes to get a refund and driving 15 more minutes to get home is half an hour. And after worked 12hr that day I didnt wanted to drive again and even less go out. Please check quality of food because I am not the only one complaining here on...
