Tl;dr: SUPER slow service, took over an hour from entering to receive food. Meh food, meh beer. Try Dewey brewing instead?

Saturday night date night. Walked in, 7:30pm, glad to see it was not as busy as I expected. Several empty tables. Bartender said to sit anywhere. Sat outside. Waited several minutes to be acknowledged by the server. She eventually came by and brought menus. Waited several minutes before she came back to bring water and ask for drink orders. Finally she came. Waited several minutes until she brought drinks. Asked for the “specials” menu which the regular menu referenced and should have been brought with menus. That actually came quickly. Quickly made up our minds, ready to order. Looked at the time. Sat with menus closed for 15 mins before she came to take our orders. At least we had drinks, but by then it was 8:30, an hour after we sat down, and we were hungry! 25 mins later, she was at the table beside us and I asked her to check on our appetizer. She came back and said they’re backed up but working on it. 10 mins later, our entrees came out BEFORE the appetizer. Server brought one set of silverware, had to ask for a second. Really! There are two of us! Food was ok. Server never checked on us. Seriously, not once. 40 mins later, I went to the bar and asked the bartender for the check. He told the server, who passed it to some patron at the bar to pass it to me at the table! Both of us have worked as servers and understand how it goes, but this was bad. Per the yelp reviews, we were not the only ones with this experience. Wish we had checked yelp rather than just google before wasting our time (checked yelp while waiting...

The food here is awful, the beer isn't cold, and the staff is incredibly rude. Half of what I ordered they didn't have, but they didn't bother mentioning that beforehand. So they bring me Ritz crackers. Then they try bringing me a sub roll. It's even worse. So I politely asked if I could just get something else instead. By the time it comes out, I've been waiting about 45 minutes for my food. The food was badly burnt, and was served with the tiniest bit of sides, but I was so hungry I ate it anyway. I went to close out, and they've charged me for both items. When I ask the bartender why, a guy comes out of the kitchen and starts arguing with me and telling me that they gave me Ritz crackers and a sub roll, and that I ate 2/3 of the item, which was ridiculous. I ate about 1/4 of it, it wasn't worth eating more. We're arguing in front of about 10 customers, which was totally awkward. Do yourself a favor and eat somewhere else, there's plenty of good...

Went to Gary's, after a friends recommended it. Ordered a turkey Reuben, when my sandwich came, it had no sauerkraut on it Server was nowhere to be found, so I ate half the sandwich as I had not eaten all day. Finally the server comes to the table, I told her about my sandwich, missing sauerkraut, she replied a Reuben doesnt come with sauerkraut. Told the server that's what the sandwich is ,meat with sauerkraut and thousand island dressing. Server left , came back a few minutes later, said the cooks made my sandwich correct and sauerkraut had been put on my sandwich my reply was show me, look at my sandwich. Server left again, came back, when I had one bite remaining, with a small portion of ice cold sauerkraut. I will never ever go back to a restaurant that basically called me a liar, about making my sandwich. Dont go to Gary's unless you want lousy food, and...
