Mancino's Pizza & Grinders — Restaurant in DeWitt Charter Township

My son and I went on a Friday after Little Caesars was a 2 hour wait. We received our pizza 🍕🥖 and bread sticks and soda 🥤 within 20 minutes on a busy weekend. The staff was very friendly welcoming atmosphere, clean, and the pizza was out of this world 🌍 amazing 🤩 was thick and cheesy 🧀 same with bread sticks 🥖 and they didn't skimp on the toppings. It was hot 🥵 fresh and delicious 😋🤤 I would highly recommend this establishment to others. There is even outdoor seating to enjoy the weather 🔆🌡️ and nature. Look forward to our next dinner 🍽️ there. Grinders 🥪 salads 🥗 pizza 🍕 and bread sticks 🥖 etc. Specialty pizzas or by the slice. Glad we found this gem of a place and it will be our new go to for pizza 🍕 bread sticks 🥖 salads 🥗 and grinders. Ah, Mancino's. One of the first places I regularly visited shortly after relocating to the Lansing area in '99. While the East Lansing location was frequently buzzing with student activity and initials carved or Sharpie'd on the walls and tables, the DeWitt location seems more like an old people diner. All clean and sedate with exceedingly pleasant teenagers serving your food. It seems, these days, that WAY more people come in to pick up pizza than stay to eat in the restaurant. 5/28/2020 We ordered curbside delivery. We waited five minutes after we were told it would be ready, then decided to go in to see what was going on. The food was cold and they said they wouldn't bring it out since they were "too busy." Why offer curbside if you aren't going to actually deliver it to a vehicle? Really disappointing. At least call and ask the customer to come in. What if we hadn't decided to go in?

5/29/2020 The manager called me and we discussed what happened. She is going to speak to her staff and offered to remake our meal in light of what happened. Hopefully her staff handle this situation better...
