The Summit Cafe — Restaurant in DeWitt

I'm a bit peeved. On Google it says this place closes at 5PM on Mondays. My wife and I show up at 3:59PM as the clock hit 4PM and were told that they're closed and not serving any more customers. My wife is pregnant 9 months and there are only a select few businesses she even likes so being turned away at the window like that was highly disappointed. Not sure if that's a usual practice but if so it's pretty rude and unprofessional considering they haven't changed the time...

I was in town for a meeting the other day and stopped in to kill some time. The service and coffee were amazing! I couldn't believe how nice and genuine the owner is and the other gal working there. They recommended a drink to me and told me that if I didn't enjoy it, they'd make me something else for free! Well, what they recommended was amazing, so they didn't have to. Will definitely stop by the next time...

Food was pretty good, we tried green eggs and "ham" (bacon) and the breakfast burrito. I had their seasonal iced coffee with cold foam (yummy), husband got a latte and asked for it in a mug as we were dining in.
