Chili's Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Diamond Bar

Very bad experience at this location! While we were eatting, the waiter was swiping the floor with bloom, and swiping all trashes behide to my 10 year old son’s chair! They are offering if u join their member program, you will get a free drink or chips. And I ask the gentleman if we can use it in the same day? He answered yes. But we keep waiting and he never came back to tell us how... in the end, we got bill for the chips for $4+, then we need to asked another person to fix this issue. While we were eatting, there were two times they came to us and asked if we finish the dish or not which there still food on our plate... and the 2nd time she even asked AFTER she took our plate!! My kid was look at me and ask me why I didn’t stop her? I said since the plate already on her hand, I don’t want it back either! We order a dessert for kids. Then we wait for almost 20 mins( not sure how long but long), and we cannot even see a person to ask if they forgot or what.... so we have to stand up then walk to the front and ask them for a box and check( kids already give up for their dessert). Then come with our check with the. Chips’ charge dessert’s charge.... then we need to tell the lady we didn’t get our dessert and the member issue..... Finally we finished all and still, need to stand up and walk to them and bring the heavy device( to sign up for their member) and money to find someone to pay.... then the story still not end yet.... we paid cash and our change should be $22.55, and guess how much the lady brought back to me? She’s very thoughtful, she must think I don’t like to carry coins around ... she gave me $22($5x4&$1x2).... it’s not about $0.55, it’s about right or wrong ! And I not even know what were they think about? For $27.45, we should pay 15-20% tips I knew, but for all these thing... I have to ask one question, what is tips mean? They think I might leave $5 bill for them? I still leave $2 on the table which I think it’s not the right amount but I don’t want to give more!! Things finish yet? 😂 no! When I on my way home, I called the store.( the internet inside was very bad, so I cannot write reviews) and tried to ask for the store manager and let her know what happened... there was a lady answer the phone and when I ask for manager, she asked my name, then turn around talked to whoever was next to her “ she’s using a random number” ( with an arrogant attitude- my 10year old twin girl feel this way too), then there was a Wendy lady came to answer. Again, I asked her if she’s the manager? She said “ no, oh! You want to talk with manager?” Then Anna, the manager, came to answer my phone..... she listened and Nice! But there is one thing for sure, we won’t go back to this place again and will tell all the people I knew about...

Walking in, we were greeted and asked if we wanted a table or a booth. It took them awhile to seat us. The restaurant was not busy as it was close to 10pm. They had told me they were closing sections and that they only had one server and asked if I wanted a booth in the bar. Mind you we had a 3 year old and the bar did have a loud party at the time. The girl then realized we had the child so she went and sat us in the section that was closed off. It took a good 5 minutes for someone to get our drink order. Strawberry lemonade didn't taste well. It had a bitter taste to it. Placed our order and when we get it, the sampler was pretty much cold. The buffalo wings and the chicken critters were cold. We asked if they can warm up the food, but in the end we just had them toss it as we just didn't want them anymore. The kids corn pretty much looked like a frozen piece that was reheated in a microwave. We had asked for Chalula hot sauce and the gave us an empty bottle. When it came time to pay, we asked for the bill and a box. Our waitress Vanessa, said we could pay via the tablet. We let her know we were paying cash. She walked by about 5 times and never gave us a box or gave us the check. She picked up our dirty plates and still didn't take the money for our bill. She finally came over to hand us the box and said she had forgotten about it and yet again didn't take our money. At that point we walked up to the front and had someone else take our money. We were really disappointed in the service we received. Safe to say we are never coming back to...

It’s so weird that at this location in DB it’s not allowing to leave a review on YELP. We came to this location because we’ve been pretty happy with service and food in the past. We came yesterday around 1pm for lunch. It was crowded with “work” people but not too bad. Our server was named Vanessa. Behind us is a father and daughter eating lunch. The older gentleman was raving how great Vanessa was and even asked for the manager (bald, dressed in a green polo) to come over so he can compliment Vanessa to her boss. I thought that’s cool he made an effort to give her recognition. However with us she gave us no service, the bus boy brought out our food, and brought it out late. She never came to our table once to inform us of the delay or to refill our drinks. Finally she came by and I asked for napkins, an extra utensil and ketchup since the bottle on our table was empty. We never saw her again. These two guys across from us came to eat and finally the one guy got up and grabbed his own utensils. After waiting for Vanessa to ask for a “to go” box and our bill I was about to get up and just grab a box but she came out when she saw the guy grab his own utensils. I was fed up waiting so I checked our bill off their machine they have on their tables and paid the exact amount in cash. I did not a leave a tip...there was no service and I wrote that on a piece of napkin they probably threw away. We were so...
