A real forest with a small park hidden in the middle of a city. I wanted to find a park to take my dog while I was in the area and didn't realize there was a mini forest in the heart of the suburbs. It has a small park with picnic tables, a kids playground/jungle gym, a creek and a trailhead that leads into the mountains. Only thing I was confused about was the sign posted said the trailhead was closed but I saw people coming and going through the trail. Have yet to hike the trail but it's similar to the ones at the National Parks I've been to. A nice spot if you need some nature and a break from the hustle and bustle of the city without going too far away. Read moreNice park. Well maintained by the city of Diamond Bar. On the street level you have a large grass area with baseball/softball field. As you drive further you see a new, modern play area for toddlers and one level further a huge play area for bigger kids The whole park as well as the jungle gym playground is wheelchair accessible. There are ramps everywhere. There are hiking trails of varying degrees and a stream running through the park that has been dry but has a good amount of water now. There are gazebos that can be reserved for parties with bbqs and trash cans. There are many picnic tables (in the sun and the shade) with convenient trash cans, water fountains and bbqs for everyone to use. There is also a public restroom that is well maintained. Parking is limited but you can always park on the street. Have a nice day at...

There's a nice walking trail you can take too. We saw lots of squirrels and lizards which the kids loved to see. My son enjoyed the creek and my daughter enjoyed picking flowers. The playgrounds were clean and well maintained. There was public restrooms that were clean and stocked. Lots of shady areas for picnics and tables to have parties. I've been told it can get very busy on the weekends for this reason. I saw a couple barbecue...
