The quality of care here was subpar; which led me to switch medical groups. Receptionists promise to call back and follow up with you and never did. Prescriptions aren’t sent to pharmacy or are not sent properly therefore pharmacy cannot release medication. Don't bother leaving voicemails as no one will call you back. I had a cyst removed by Dr. Abaza who put me on antibiotics for 1 month (Should not be taken for more than 14 days). I'll take partial blame as I should be my own advocate for my health. Because of this medical negligence I am now on a long road of recovery as my gut biome is completely destroyed due to being on antibiotics for so long. After my medical procedure the doctor leaves the room and gives me no after-care instructions. The receptionist/ medical assistant maybe (??) then finishes SEMI cleaning me up and tells me I am good to go. As I am walking to my car the receptionist ran out to give me a sheet of paper with instructions on how to care for my incision. 2 weeks later my stitches were removed where the same receptionist removed my stitches, and not the doctor. She picked off a scab that was healing which led to me bleeding out. I was then sent home and was not given a follow-up appointment to ensure it was healing properly. 2 weeks later my incision gets infected and I call in to request an appointment only to never be called back again. Dr Abaza was the only clinic that accepted my insurance thanks to my primary who referred me to him. And I'm so grateful for that. I came into my initial consultation appt thinking I had an infected folliculitis on my scalp that would not heal. He did a biopsy at my second appt and did a rush on that. I was floored by the results--it was afterall skin cancer. He literally saved my life! It wasn't melanoma but still, it was a lesion that wouldn't heal and kept growing. I had an appointment here and they took about 20 min to see me. No greeting and staff is rude. They greet others but don’t be a person of color here. They only cater to fair skin. Doctor was rude and made my treatment very painful. I would not recommend this place. They also told me they would send my prescription to my local pickup and they never did.
