Starbucks — Restaurant in Diamond Bar

I visited this Starbucks today and had a very awkward and uncomfortable experience. As soon as I walked in, I noticed that everyone behind the counter was looking at me, but no one greeted me or acknowledged my presence. It immediately made me feel unwelcome.

I placed my order with a girl who had dark hair in pigtails and glasses. The exchange was normal at first, and I even tipped her. I ordered a plain black coffee and a puppy cup. But as I was sitting down, I realized she never asked for my name, which felt a bit off.

After hearing a name called that sounded somewhat similar to mine (I thought I heard "Keri"), I walked up and asked if she had said "Keri." She just walked away from me without saying a word. Feeling confused, I returned to my seat and waited for my name to be called, but it never was. I finally got up and told another staff member that my name hadn't been taken. She was super sweet and asked for my name, which was the first bit of warmth I received in there.

When I heard "here's your coffee," I thought it was for the lady next to me because no one had said my name. But when I looked up and saw the coffee, I politely went over and said, "Excuse me, my name is Keri," and took my order. It was the same lady with the pigtails.

Overall, the service was very off-putting, and the staff seemed disinterested in making me feel like a valued customer. It didn't seem like the same level of service I saw given to others around me. I felt like I was being treated differently, and it really soured the visit.

Worst place ever, the worst service you can get, they close whenever they please, change hours however they like. placed order online noone could just come up to the door and tell me the f**ked up taking my order please call customer service for a refund, i would have done that then....but instead they would just say "no" and look away! called them on the phone, the guy said i can make your drink but you have to wait 20 minutes until 11 that we leave, so how are u closed at 10:34 pm but will give me my drink at 11:00 when you leave? rudly hanging up, and talking to me like if im begging for foor, i had paid for my drink! never experienced anything like this two girls and one guy and noone came to talk and...

Had an interesting experience in drive through today. I'm a pretty friendly person, but our drive thru cashier lacked etiquette and behaved as if we bothered her. After that, our order was incorrect (no big deal, easily fixed) and again, she behaved as if she were bothered when we asked for the correction & refund. She then proceeded, very rudely, to ask for the beverage back if we wanted a refund (again, no big deal we didn't expect to keep it).
