I visited this Starbucks today and had a very awkward and uncomfortable experience. As soon as I walked in, I noticed that everyone behind the counter was looking at me, but no one greeted me or acknowledged my presence. It immediately made me feel unwelcome.
I placed my order with a girl who had dark hair in pigtails and glasses. The exchange was normal at first, and I even tipped her. I ordered a plain black coffee and a puppy cup. But as I was sitting down, I realized she never asked for my name, which felt a bit off.
After hearing a name called that sounded somewhat similar to mine (I thought I heard "Keri"), I walked up and asked if she had said "Keri." She just walked away from me without saying a word. Feeling confused, I returned to my seat and waited for my name to be called, but it never was. I finally got up and told another staff member that my name hadn't been taken. She was super sweet and asked for my name, which was the first bit of warmth I received in there.
When I heard "here's your coffee," I thought it was for the lady next to me because no one had said my name. But when I looked up and saw the coffee, I politely went over and said, "Excuse me, my name is Keri," and took my order. It was the same lady with the pigtails.
Overall, the service was very off-putting, and the staff seemed disinterested in making me feel like a valued customer. It didn't seem like the same level of service I saw given to others around me. I felt like I was being treated differently, and it really soured the visit.

Read moreHad an interesting experience in drive through today. I'm a pretty friendly person, but our drive thru cashier lacked etiquette and behaved as if we bothered her. After that, our order was incorrect (no big deal, easily fixed) and again, she behaved as if she were bothered when we asked for the correction & refund. She then proceeded, very rudely, to ask for the beverage back if we wanted a refund (again, no big deal we didn't expect to keep it).
