We've been meaning to try this place. We finally took a date day and went. We dont go out much as my wife is wheelchair bound. After the hype we heard about this place and as a FOODIE who enjoys a good meal. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. To start we got the bruschetta app and a cheese pizza..the bread for the dish was so thick made it hard to eat, the bruschetta was dry and lacked flavor, the pizza..wow the sauce. they have cans stacked in hallway that say pizza sauce...dough chalky, cheese decent..but the sauce ...such a let down. My wife ordered the chicken parm, I had the stuffed pork chop, I asked if I could get it without cheese, no because it's pre-made. Dishes come out..cheese on chicken parm...no color..barley melted, chicken dark, over cooked, my chop was covered with CANNED MUSHROOMS not fresh..it is a pizza place do they put canned on the pizza? ...artichokes with what tasted to be the same as the pizza sauce..the veggies .not cut in-house.. Italian restaurant you would think Italian music..nope..asked if it could be changed..we were the only table in the place. Nope. So disheartening..We love good food. Was really looking forward to trying this place as it came HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. NOPE! 100$ with tip... never again.

I typically love eating here, but tonight my boyfriend and I decided to order for take out got our meals and were exited to eat our food. The pasta seems great, however upon opening our bread from the foil that came with it, we immediately saw that our bread was ridden with mold. I am truly disgusted and disappointed. I am scared to eat the rest of my meal given the state of the bread. I understand mistakes happen, but serving molded bread should never be okay, this is either a supplier problem or staffs problem for not checking the food thoroughly. Like i initially stated, I love eating at Gio’s, but this makes hesitate any further visits. I hope this could be resolved quickly. Edit: I reached out to Tonya, who is what I presume to be the manager there. She apologized for the mistake that was made and said to bring the food back today (as by the time I had realized the bread was bad they were already closed) when I brought it her and the head chef profusely apologized for the mistake, and remade the order for no additional charge. You could tell by the way they were talking that their apologies were as sincere as can be. Thank you Tonya, and to the chef as well for making things right.

Hello and good evening. Dining out is back; my family and I spent Friday night at Gios ; I know what your saying right now, “ tell us more mustache man.” Let’s go…. Firstly, place was packed with patrons; we were seated at table, and the hostess was very nice and quick. Took a minute to meet our waitress, however; it was worth the wait. Our waitresses Cilia was absolutely fantastic! Secondly, great bread complements of the house, moreover, the garlic dipping oil is to die for; I would lick the plate; if, my wife would let me. The Caesar salad, house salad and fried mozzarella sticks hot and fresh. Lightening round, pizza hot, fresh, succulent, and delish! Service excellent, bathrooms clean, and family atmosphere. I give 5 out of 5 mustaches. Makes sure you ask for Cilia, introduce yourself and tell her mustache man sent you. Stay awesome! Going to New Orleans this weekend… look for lots of food posting. UPDATE!!

The owner reached out to me and explained the circumstances of the night and offered a gift card. We live in the area and continue to get our service delivered from them. My son yells pizza, pizza every time someone rings our doorbell thinking it’s them. We thank that they reached out to us and understand that the service industry is not perfect.

I’m very upset to have to write this comment for y’all. If you check your phone log or sales log, you will realize that we are loyal costumers and order from y’all two to three times a month. There have been times that we order from you twice a week.

Last week, I ordered two fettuccini Alfredo’s for my son, just so he could get the extra chicken. I asked the person that answered the phone for grilled chicken, she replied blackened and I corrected her twice that it was grilled. When the food was delivered, it was blackened for both. Now I hope you have children and know how incredibly hard it’s to explain a three year old that his chicken is dark and he refuses to eat it. So I called back and the person gave me a credit for the food, she offered to send one right away but at that point we had already gone through the tantrum so I was done.

I called tonight and asked for a children’s chicken Alfredo and ask if our credit can be redeemed. I can hear the ladies going back and forth over the phone about it. When she gets back to the phone, she lets me know that I will owe her 3 dollars which was odd since I had credit for two. So I asked her why, so when the manager or older lady comes to the phone, she sounds just so incredibly annoyed. She starts off with well the reason why you have a credit, because I obviously don’t know why, it’s because they were a child size and now it’s an adult size. I was like no it’s a children’s size and I will go pick it up. She gets so annoyed and starts scolding me, she goes “You really need to specify what you want or this is definitely going to be a problem.” I was so embarrassed over the phone that I just told her to forget it and let go of the phone call. I don’t think I’m entitled to be correct just because I’m a costumer, but you are trying to make up a mistake that you have previously made. I have ordered from there for the past 6 years and haven’t had an issue other than forgotten cheese sticks that I was given credit for and redeemed later on. I didn’t forget how to order food and even if I made a mistake, she could’ve been more gracious about it. The same girl who answered the phone this time, was the same girl who took my order last time.

I will definitely be back at a later time, but I definitely think this should be addressed. It wasn’t just rude, but it is just mean and arrogant to speak to anyone in...

My wife and I are moving into this area and looking for good places to eat. Due to just one experience, Gio's is off our list.

Let's start with the food. We ordered Crab Cakes, Cream of Potato Soup and Lasagne. We LOVE crab cakes.....but we couldn't find any crab in the crab cakes, not one piece....just a mush grilled till crispy on the outside. The Cream of Potato soup must of had just a drop of cream for color...basically water with some chunks of potato. The Lasagne was ok.

Now for the service. After delivering our food, the waitress asked if we needed anything. I asked for a refill for my Diet Coke....guess she didn't see it was empty. She said ok, but then headed to the back and sat down to chat with another customer. The customer was in between her and us so she couldn't even see us. I didn't want to eat until I had something to drink. After waiting a while for her to show some interest in her customers, I gave up and asked another waiter for a refill. He promptly brought me my refill. Shortly afterwards, she brought a styrofoam cup with diet coke and told us she had a "brain fart" and here is a "extra refill. I was already unhappy at that point and she knew it.

To make matters worse, after giving me my refill, she went to the cashiers and told them something....they all looked are way and started laughing.

Something my Dad taught me....if you are really unhappy with the service, tip a penny. If you dont tip, it could me an error....but a penny tip is Loud and Clear.

Immediately after we stood up, she went to our table to get the signed receipt....fastest she moved while we were there. Then she yelled to us..."only a penny?".....well, she got all that she deserved. She also claimed that she didn't hear me ask for the refill. So which was is, brain fart or didn't hear....one is a lie.

With so many choices to eat, why waste time and money for bad food and horrible service. There are two other places in the same shopping center that are so...
