California Burrito Dixon — Restaurant in Dixon

My combo chicken burrito and taco featured a soggy shell and boiled chicken. The burrito maybe had paprika? Or a sauce - you can see red dots in the picture and the tortilla was soggy - but the food was featureless and tasteless with no veggies, cheese, nor discernible spices or sauce. They gave me green sauce separately but it was watery and tasteless as well.

Also, the receipt and charge differed by 60 cents. I can only imagine that's due to a "convenience fee" or something due to paying with a credit card, but there's no notification of a surcharge.

I went through the drive-through so I cannot speak to the ambiance. There were no other cars in the parking lot or drive-through, so I can't imagine it's...

I went from having one the best quessabirra here to the worst one.

I remember when they opened I got a quessabirria that was perfectly charred, consume was flavorful, and the thing was big (packed with meat in big corn tortillas) . Since going, Ive seen the quality systematically decline.

The last straw was bitting into this quessabirria half the size of the original. The consume was mostly oil and the beef was just fat! I had one whole quesabirria that was full of chewy fat chunks I almost gagged.

I went back to California Burrito Dixon... I have to say that the chicken burrito was good on Friday. So I went back and bought a steak burrito. It was delicious. It was not overpowered by too much rice and beans. But I thought a fair amount of everything and the taste was great... My hat's off to the cook ... It was not one of those bland burritos. You could taste the different flavors. I'm going back...
