Jack in the Box — Restaurant in Dixon

Hi unfortunately my dad had a bad experience at this Jack in the box more than one time . On this occasion 8-12-24 he went through the drive through and ordered 2 tacos , a boba drink and some chicken nuggets of some sort (no meal) unfortunately my dad could not hear the drive through person clearly so he asked for them to please turn up the volume, they did not and he still couldn't hear, they ask him to pull forward and he does. He is asked again to repeat the order but it takes a while because the the person does have a thick accent so it take a while to get everything, once the order was put through and the total was 35$ my dad was a lil concerned at that point , so he asked the price again and again the person said 35$ he tried to explain that he did not order enough for that amount, and he asked politely can you get the manager, the manager comes to the window and talkes to the window person and in another language asks if they need to call the police , at this point my dad is confused and would just like to get the correct total, the manager heard him out and checked the order and says sir it is $13.50 , he explained the other person said 35$ thank you for checking. He did get his food and it was good but unfortunately he was not able to understand the person working the window and was given the wrong total. The service has been bad for years here, I'm hoping they get it together soon. I stopped by for a quick pitstop, where I was in need of a quick bite before continuing on my road trip out of town. Upon arrival, it was lunch time but not busy at all and I was greeted by one of their friendly staff members. There was a lot to choose from, but I went with my go to Jack in the box meal which is their spicy chicken sandwich combo with curly fries. It was a hot day so I needed something refreshing to sip on. Their drink dispensers are one of the new style ones where there are many drinks to choose from and are labeled in different categories, and the best thing is each drink has multiple flavors. For example, I chose the Coke Zero and there are like 5 other Coke Zero flavors you can choose from. Their menu consists of breakfast, burgers, sandwiches, rice bowls, tacos, salads, sides and much more. Everything is made to order which is just the way I like it since it is quality over quantity and I never mind the wait since I am a very patient person. The staffs here are welcoming, well trained and understanding where it made my visit a very satisfying one. You can either dine in, order for take out, use their drive thru, get it delivered to you via a delivery app, or you can order on the Jack in the box app and they will bring your order to your car when you arrive. Worst fast food experience(s) ever. I work graveyards at a production facility in Dixon and there are very few options past 10pm in this town. Our lunch is at 1am and this jack in the box is literally the only option for hot food on our break. Most of my coworkers have completely given up coming here because of slow/bad service,messed up orders etc. I’m one of the few still giving the place multiple last chances because we have no other options. That being said I’ve hit my limit with this place. There has been multiple occasions where with 2 cars in line orders have taken over 20 minutes to produce. Just to be wrong. The milkshake “machine” is always “broken” or “being taken apart to be cleaned”or so I’m told. Sure one time I’ll buy it maybe two. But every single time now whoever the female working at night is refuses to make milkshakes. The inconsistency is absolutely rediculous. I just attempted to try and eat here on my lunch. Again. And sat in the drive through for 15 minutes without any movement of the cars in front of me and nobody taking my order. This is impossibly...
