Passport to Thailand LLC (Thai Express & Boba Tea) — Restaurant in Dodge City

We were very excited to try this new place as we had tried the food truck before and the food was good. We are a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 children. We sat down and the server just told us, “the menu is on Facebook” and walked away, which was kind of rude. So we pulled our phones to check the menu. We ordered 2 pho’s and 1 chicken rice bowl and an appetizer. The pho was way too sweet and did not have anything else other than noodles and meat. The crab raggoons were still cold in the center and the outside was a little too brown. The rice bowl was delicious though. Our bill came out to over $100 with a 20% gratuity charge plus card fee, which is outrageous! It was nowhere posted or otherwise stated they charge that other than the check which stated that parties of 3 or more have an automatic charge. What?! Definitely not going back or recommending...

I had a hard time finding the place. It's actually not in the building, but a white food truck in the parking lot. There was a line of cars, so we did have to wait just a little bit, but only a little bit. There's no prices on the dishes, but they said that must things are less than $15. I had the $15 Pad Kra Pao w/fried rice and an egg which was really nice, but not the best I've ever had. Coworker had Shrimp Pad Thai, but only got literally 4 medium sized shrimp in his Pad Thai. The appetizers were only okay. I do plan to return, but I will get just an entree and try...

Hubby & I stopped in on 8/30 for lunch. We ordered 2 apps & 2 dishes and all came out as quickly as possible. The Crab Rangoon were hot & delicious! The spring rolls were super fresh & the peanut sauce was amazing. The Pad See Ew & Drunken Noodle dishes are dishes found no where else in SW KS, not even in Garden City. The Thai Tea was also different than others I've had in SW KS & great to have while eating a spicy dish. And I would take this Thai Tea over others any day.
