Crispy Donuts — Restaurant in Dodge City

I was very excited to visit this donut shop, as I’m not from Dodge City and had heard there were several types of donuts to try. I arrived a little before 7 a.m. after work, looking forward to a good experience.

Customer service is always the first thing I notice when visiting any public place. When I walked in, there was one person ahead of me placing an order, but I wasn’t greeted—no “hello” or “good morning.” I smiled and mentioned to the young woman that it was my first time there and that I was excited to try their donuts, yet she didn’t respond. I gave her the benefit of the doubt, thinking perhaps she didn’t hear me or wasn’t feeling well.

As I continued ordering, four more customers came in. Neither the man in the back nor the woman helping me greeted them either. Unfortunately, this lack of acknowledgment made the atmosphere feel unwelcoming.

I'm from Fort Worth and even in a bigger town I haven't seen a donut place with such a wide variety. I was disappointed to learn that the mochi donuts are only on Fridays and Saturdays as I love them. The donut I did get was great however. I also got a jalapeno pig in a blanket and it was pretty good too. This place is amazing!!!!!!! Hands down, best donuts around! To top it off the display when you walk in is almost unrealistic! Absolutely beautiful! Probably the cleanest establishment in Dodge as well! Service is amazing and very friendly! This business nailed it as far as perfection goes! And I am a regular, and it's consistent!
