Dairy Queen — Restaurant in Donna

Associate took our order of two Hunger Buster burgers and said she would bring them to our table. We were the only ones in the store at the time, even the drive thru wasn't busy at 5pm. While waiting it sounded like the entire staff was having a party. We waited between 7-10 minutes and I went to the counter and our sandwiches were sitting in the pass thru. Our sandwiches were lukewarm, but I wasn't going to complain and have to wait longer. It didn't seem like anyone was in charge. Many employees were eatting or leaving...must have been shift change. We pulled into the drive thru. We ordered 2 different kinds of blizzards and asked they be made with chocolate ice cream vs vanilla. The clerk confirmed our order repeating the chocolate ice cream back to us. We pulled up and paid. She handed us our blizzards upside down and when we turned them over, we asked if they were made with vanilla cause it was white. The clerk stated they dont have chocolate ice cream anymore. We should have been told that as we ordered. Not after we paid for them! Ice cream is a treat for us and if we are going to eat unhealthy calories, we want to get what we want! BAD SERVICE. ...

this is the only place that isn't packed at lunch, and now I understand why. Have been here twice in a row, and they don't know how to make blizzards. Order chocloate covered strawberries, and I brought up to one of the ladies. The times I've gotten it, it's mainly vanilla with a bit of strawberries and a few chocolate chips.... this has been the only DQ that has done this. and it's not just because they had a bad day. Apparently they only do small portions. The food is good, the staff is ok, restaurant clean. I just believe if you go to DQ, you expect excellent blizzards. That's what they are specialized in.
