WOW AMAZING is all I have to say!
My Venezuelan friend has been telling me to go try Caracas Bakery for over a year already and I haven’t been able to go until today. Mainly because their location in Doral has barely any parking so I would always leave. Decided to give it a try through UberEats hoping as it was a bakery establishment my order would come somewhat decently since it was delivery.
No disappointment whatsoever!
I ordered 3 items:
• Ham and Cheese Croissant is to die for! Perfect flakiness, right amount of ham and cheese and the best part of it after every bite you can hear the crunchiness of how perfectly made this croissant is! • Palmeritas mindblown! Once again the flakiness was on point and perfect amount of sweetness so literally you can eat more than 2 on one sitting. • Pastry Cream Danish flakiness was lacking a little bit but the Pastry Cream was perfect! I am extremely picky when it doesn’t have the right taste and wow Caracas Bakery Pastry Chef got the right consistency; perfect custard, super rich taste and especially that creamy texture that’s thick enough to hold. She or he is very quick on the stove and definitely is doing an excellent job at it!
Highly recommended!
I will definitely be ordering from their location plenty! Maybe visit their Key Biscayne location before a Paddleboard session! You’ve got a new customer!
This was the perfect dessert after a lunch from Jardines de Confucio Restaurant. Arroz Chino con Palmeritas; count me in!

Second time ordering through UberEats and yes they come as fresh as you’ll eat them at their establishment!
This time around I tried their
• Chocolate Croissant and it was out of this world! Flakiness is perfectly on point and the chocolate is similar to a ganache converted into a mousse/custard dark chocolate. Not too sweet but it was the perfect balance. The toasted Hazelnut on top were super crunchy which makes it a must try! • Cachito Ham and Cheese was delicious. I wish it had a little bit more of cheese but trust me you will be eating more ham than bread so that makes it a huge difference from other places who make cachito’s. • Palmerita; I loved it so much I had to reorder!

Third time ordering and this time around wasn’t as highly expected as the first two times. Everything came in cold. Major disappointment!
• Ham and Cheese Croissant was not as crispy as always and it came cold; didn’t enjoy that at all. It seemed like it was an old order they heated and couldn’t sell it.
• Ordered a Spinach & Cheese Empanada instead I got a cold Shredded Chicken Empanada which I was like okay I’ll try it. But something in it gave me allergies; not very pleasant!
• Palmerita was delicious and crunchy as always! Can’t never go wrong with it!
With that being said; not sure I’ll be ordering from this establishment anymore as today was a horrible experience. To whoever was in charge of packing the order; you need to read and check...
Read moreOne of the best Venezuelan bakeries so far! The cachitos jam of course is the thing you need to order. Plenty of jam shredded to perfection.
Cafecito con leche on point and of course I added my cinnamon powder to it! Adding to our Venezuelan degustation, a Golfeado is the way to go. For those who are not familiar with it, it is very similar to a Cinnamon roll 🥮 but mixes the savory by including Venezuelan cheese as a topping (queso de mano 🧀 + anise (anís). This one in particular was baked to perfection, as it was mellowed with plenty of honey and crunchy nuts 🥜to top it.
The apple strudel 🍏🥮was a like a puff cloud blowing in your mouth and with plenty of sugar powding to blow your expectations!
The jam & cheese croissant 🥐 easily crumbled in your mouth, I just wish it had more jam & cheese filling.
The Palmerita was baked with plenty of cinnamon and vanilla! A twist of the traditional Spanish treat that I was not expecting. 👑
The place just needs some area to sit down and enjoy its pastry selection on site!
Looking forward to try the rest on my next visit, even thought the place is pricy, but it is worth every drop of...
Read moreI discovered the bakery perhaps 3 months ago, I had heard of the bakery breads and sweets. The first time I went, I bought a selection of bread and sweets breads for a friend that is very ill. The next and that the reason for the review is the abusive pricing of the pain au Chocolat $6.95 each about the highest I have paid beside Bachour that has been gone out of Doral for few years. There is no reason to overcharge it, anger me, especially when you travel abroad and have bought the same or way better with choice butter and years or generations of experience in laboring for 1.00 euros. There is not much esle to review ? Cachito de jamón, heavy bread size of 4 inch sandwich bread filled with chunky ham paste and cheese, which I didn't find too much of. Heavy and really needed the cheese to over balance the bread, which is the bulk. Don't know if I will spend another 7.00 dollars for a pain au chocolat. Culinary...
