Gran Pollo — Restaurant in Doral

This place is a hidden gem. Very nice and clean atmosphere. Family friendly! The food is great, delicious and you can tell its good quality! As for drinks, they got happy hour monday thru friday 2x1! Mind you their drafts are $3!!! And great wine selection very affordable! The service is friendly and welcoming.

Some of my favorite dishes are the chicharrones de pollo which are these delicious chicken chunks with the perfect seasoning and crunch! Also, punta trasera for 2 is the perfect dish for a couple! The most tender meat (I think its like a juicy ribeye not so sure about the cut) sooo yummy! And for dessert my favorite is the chocolate marquesa cake! I cant even describe how good it is! (Planning on ordering one for my next birthday)

What a bad experience... First of all, this place is supposed to close at 9pm, we arrived at 8pm and the waitress made a face when she saw us enter, we were only two people and we wanted to know the place, since it was our first time . We ordered a chicken which came out in five minutes and was super dry, then the waitress began to clean the floor with a super strong cleaner, the food could not even be enjoyed. Actually, if the place is going to close in an hour and they don't want to attend, it is better to tell the customer that they are no longer serving. It was my first and my last time in this place....

The food had very good flavors and good amount, but a little on the pricey side. Me and the wife shared a parrillita and asked for 1 fries side for the kids, and 2 sides for us. After the 18% gratuity was already added 🤨. Our check came out to $70 🤯. Also, there is no kids friendly many at all. The place is clean but looks very run down, the waitress looked a little bother, when we asked to be seated at a different table because on the original table was hitting the sun.
