I honestly do not remember the last time I have had to use Google reviews. But this one employee in specific stood out to me the most, I was getting my order done by a very nice employee which I can not remember her name, when another employee by the name of Elliot decided to take over and make my ice cream. Naturally this wasn't an issue with me being that to my understanding all cold Stone employees are trained the same way, correct? So I told the employees (Elliot) what I wanted on my ice cream and he proceeded to make it but WOW was I shocked at how terribly he made my ice cream after reminding the employee (Elliot) to make sure the ice cream was well mixed with my Choice of topping (Yellow cake) I had to ask three times and still he only mixed it twice and told me he couldn't mixed it any better and might I add when he mixed it, he only crush the cake twice with their ice cream spades. I've never had such a horrific experience as this. I've been going to this Cold Stone for almost 2 1/2 years. But this experience just blew me over the edge, especially when i told him to charge me separately he refused and said to me that I had been making him work extra because of my request to mix the ice cream well... I DEFINITELY WILL NOT BE COMING BACK HERE AGAIN. I'm just going to have to find another ice cream parlor for my co workers and I after work every night. This was our favorite spot.
P.s: As he was scoping the ice cream out I noticed his forearms and hands were covered in soap isn't that cross...
Read moreI normally don’t review companies but today I just feel compelled to. Only word I could use to describe my experience with this location is.. unaccommodating. I order 5 gift cards at $10.00 per card, I tried to pay with a $100 bill, you cannot, he tells me “you have to pay with a card”, I ask “so if I pay with 20’s you don’t accept it?”, he goes “you can’t pay with a 50 or 100”, ah ok, that’s not exactly the same thing.
I asked for a price on the cup-cakes “it’s right in front of you” he points to a price...ok I ask “can I buy these cupcakes (18 of them by the way) and then pick them up later on it’s for some kids? He tells me “no we don’t allow anyone to do that because if other people arrive it’s a problem”.
Bottom line, today there is a many to many ratio of all things, especially Ice Cream. Not only Cold Stone but all companies should really learn that with all of the automation and multiple brands being released daily- you need to be special, your people need to be special and you need to treat people special. Attendants will eventually be automated forcing them to grow but with unaccommodating...
Read moreOrdered a birthday cake for my son’s birthday, they called and told me that they didn’t have what i had ordered. Switched for another cake after speaking with them. My friend picked up the cake as a favor bc i didn’t have time and once it got to me they didn’t even write on the cake as ordered and the sticker on the cake said it was a different flavor. Had to rush back to them tried to switch the cake but they didn’t even have other small ones available and then after i waited about five mins while they wrote on the cake i had brung back after they tried to reassure me that it would be the flavor i ordered in spite of having the wrong label she told me to “trust her” they did offer to give me a free pint for the inconvenience, which my son later on enjoyed but the headache and stress of running backwards to correct this was very frustrating and it’s unacceptable to forget to even write the message on the cake.
