OK, I am officially hooked, as a bakery goods lover I must tell you that if you come here your outlook on life will completely change(I know I sound like I am being a little dramatic but please hear me out).
I decided to go on a mini adventure and seek out a great bakery that I have never been to , and this place just called out to me. Different flavored empanadas, designed and specialized with different fillings, breading, cheese, I mean cmon! What more can you ask for. It took me literally 2 min of scrolling through pictures almost drooling on myself till I finally decided enough is enough. I got by car keys and headed out to Harry's.
Upon arriving the staff was extremely friendly, following every safety guideline you can think of from wearing gloves and a mask to having a pexy glass installed at the check out window to ensure a safe and super cleanly check out.
My eyes immediately dropped, when I saw all the options, juicy and stuffed tequeños, pan de Bono, pastelitos, I was in heaven.
I ended up ordering a pan de Bono(super fluffy and just the right amount of cheese where it was crunchy on the outside but dense in the inside), Cachito( this was a flavor missile jam packed with tiny bits of ham to the brim and cheese, with a very baked exterior), and a Chicken empanada (that was jam packed with shredded chicken with just the right amount of spice).
Overall, this is an incredible bakery and they have definitely won themselves a regular.
Ps. As I'm writing this I just ordered from here again, and the tequeño... OUT OF THIS WORLD. Ok I'm done.

Read moreIf you're craving empanadas this is definitely the place you need to come to. Empanada Harry's serves a massive variety of unique gourmet empanadas and traditional ones in different styles from different countries so there really is any type of empanada for anyone here! When you enter the decor is well done, the ambiance inviting/cozy, and the staff friendly and ready to answer any of your questions!
My boyfriend and I decided to get an assortment to share and they were served in beautiful huge bowls. These are what we tried: Cuban: 12 hr slow roasted pork, ham, pickles Swiss cheese, mustard Fritanga: steak, fried cheese, plaintains & red beans Philly: steak, green peppers, onion, provolone - Carne: beef & green olives Fifty Fifty: beef & chorizo Pabellon: shredded beef, cheese, black beans & plaintain
The Philly and the Cuban were definitely some of my favorites but all of them were good. I know each month they present a new empanada of the month so keep an eye out for something that will surprise you! I think this month they are doing dim sum which sounds delicious. They also serve some Venezuelan favorites which is why I would love to return for brunch which I imagines gets packed.
Will definitely be back to try more amazing empanada flavors and will recommend for parties since I a box of these would knock the socks off of your...
Read moreThe food tastes good but the service is HORRIBLE. The older woman and the young guy are rude. I have been there about 5 times. Every time either one of them has been rude. Today I went in there and I wasn’t aware that they were going to close at 3:30 but I came in before 2:30. It was like they were in a rush but the store wasn’t busy. I ordered 2 chicken empanadas, but in her “rush” she gave me 2 empanadas that had black beans, plantains, and I think it was red meat. It still tasted good but it’s not what I wanted. Another time I went in there and I asked what oil they use to cook the empanadas in and if there were any peanuts or nuts in the empanadas I was ordering (my daughter is allergic to peanuts) and they were totally clueless. I waited around for them to tell me they don’t know but the peanuts “could be in the air.” What??? I don’t let my daughter eat anything from there. After today’s experience and my past experiences with this place I will not be returning. Get some polite people to work at your establishment and then educate them on your ingredients and how your food...
